LOL I have no self control, I went to read that review to see what is there, anticipating no new stuff, but that last thing under the spoiler is something I didn't expect (view spoiler)[I mean, Tamlin is a traitor? Seriously? When did he become one? How? Because the first thing when I read "traitor that comes to mind is some sort of alliance with the king of Hybern. Is Tamlin becoming like his father? But we know he HATED his father's policy, so I'm at a loss here. Maybe he betrayed Feyre in some other way, because he was pissed? (hide spoiler)]

OMG I'm even more excited to read it now after that review. And I'm not really surprised at the Tamlin spoiler... I mean he did NOTHING for Feyre but use her and allow himself to be manipulated by others. The only way for him to gain any type of agency is to do something stupid. I'm not surprised.

It's huge-ish. It's one sentence that reveals something, but doesn't reveal the how or the why. The preceding sentences are things that have already been surmised in this very thread.

I'm excited to read how this is going to go, but I'm baffled as to why Tamlin would do this? Is it because he got pissed over Feyre? But he seemed to genuinely care about her in ACOTAR.
Or is it to get back at Rhys, for all the times he treated him condescendingly in ACOTAR and ACOMAF? Add to this their obviously complicated past, and even though Tamlin isn't a villain, he could totally snap and do something stupid.

I wish I hadn't read the spoiler, though, because it would have been better as a surprise. Now I'm going to be waaay too suspicious about everything Tamlin does, looking for clues. (view spoiler)[ Truly I think if Tamlin had a past of slaughtering humans and enjoying it like his father, Rhysand would never let his mate be with him. Tamlin has to have some goodness for Rhys to let her go at the end of ACOTAR. I do think he's killed a lo of humans and possibly had a dislike for them, but I think his feelings for Feyre are genuine.

But I think his fear and desperation to get Feyre back, yes, he's going to snap and do something really stupid. Like make a deal with the king to break the bargain. Or some other reason. But if he does ally with the king, I don't think it will be because he shares the same beliefs.

Unless....unless Amarantha somehow is able to haunt him and twist him into something horrible. You know, whisper in his ear about how she was right, how all human hearts lie, etc. Would he turn on all the humans? I don't think so...but you never know. (hide spoiler)]

I think it is worth reading mild spoilers on tumblr however do not read the book review because it tells you everything that happens and it's nice to be surprised about some things.
