Shadow took her portion and started to eat, leaning against the wall of the cave.

They also ate their part, sighing softly((Just came back from the movie Mad Max! :D))
Shadow didn't say anything as she ate. ((Omg how was it?!?! I can't wait for it to come out here!))
Dex looked at her((Haha it was awesome!))
For a second shadow thought she felt the ground move, but she dismissed it. "So," she said hesitantly, but stopped.
"Well, I was thinking it's about time for me to move on. Get out of you guys's hair and everything." She looked down. ((The earthquake thing can happen whenever you want to rp it))
Dex smiled "nah it's fine, we don't mind" Raem nodded. He looked around "Did you feel it too? I think the earth just moved"((Now :p))
"Yeah," shadow looked around, concerned. "What was that?"
Dex narrowed his eyes "I'm not sure" suddenly, the whole ground began shaking furiously "Earthquake!" He shouted. The whole cave shakes and huge rocks began falling all around.
Shadow rolled out of the way as a rock landed right where she'd been sitting. "Get to the entrance!" She shouted adjust the noise.
They ran to the entrance. Suddenly, a huge rock fell down and trapped them under it "Help!" Dex cried.
Shadow was nearly out of the cave when she heard their shout. She turned to see they were trapped. save yourself! her instinct told her. For a moment she hesitated, and then she ran back to where they were, dodging the falling rocks.
They were trapped. Completely trapped. There was nothing they could do.
Shadow tried to lift the rock that was on them. It barely budged. She put her good shoulder against it and pushed.
"Dex" Raem coughed and whispered "if this is our end... I'm sorry if I ever hurt you" Dex sighed in pain "I'm sorry too, for whatever I did..."
Shadow mustered up every bit of strength she could and shoved. The rock raised off of them. "Go!" She shouted. "I can't hold it long!"
((Yeah I was gonna let you decide which one))
((okay let's say Dex makes it out then? Just a random choice so if you don't like it you can go with Raem))

((Ok sure))Dex made it out in time, but Raem got squashed under another rock. Dex looked at the rocks, tears in his eyes.
After Dex got out Shadow couldn't hold up the rock any longer. She let it drop. A pang of something went through her chest as she saw Raem's fate. But rocks were still falling. "We have to get out of here!" She shouted to Dex.
Dex nodded "this way! Hop on my back" he knelt down "I can bring us to safety"
Shadow did as he said and ducked out of the way of more rocks.
((So I just got to see mad max too! :D ))
"Hold me tightly!" He shouted. He run forward, using his metal legs faster and faster.
((How was it? :D *ahem epic rock guitar guy ahem*))
After a while he jumped out of the cave
((It was awesome! And ikr? I want a guitar that shoots flames now XD ))When shadow saw that they were out of the cave she slid if Dex's back.
((Haha me too! XD))He looked back at the cave, tears in his eyes "I lost my home... I lost my brother... The only things I had in life are now gone forever"
Shadow turned so she wasn't having to look at him. She didn't know what to say. "I'm sorry."
Dex sat down on the ground and covered his face with his hands
After a few minutes Shadow turned and walked cautiously up to him. She put a hand on his shoulder.
Dex looked up at her slowly "what am I going to do now? I have nothing"
"Your going to be heartbroken. It'll feel like the world has ended and there's no point in living. But then one day you'll realize it's okay. You'll be able to move on." She said the words mainly to herself.
Dex sigh and looked down "I guess you're right" he stood up "but still, I need a place to live. Do you know a place?"
Shadow shook her head. "Not here in the forest."
"I had an apartment in the city," she replied. "I've been gone so long they've likely leased it out to someone else, though."
"So you're just wandering around?" He asked
"I've been staying with you guys, so yeah I guess that's how you'd put it," she replied.
((Wait... How much time she was with them?))
((I was thinking its been like a month. How long had you thought?))
