The September Society is good.
My Word is My Bond will need to be cleared through the Not Really For Kids thread under General Help below,as someone has listed it as a Children picture book.(Really? Come on, people!) Otherwise it will work.

Well, it does have a picture section and some of them ARE of Moore as a boy, but wow, that's the last of my books for this task I thought would give trouble!
But I do have Pretty Little Liars in my queue and Sara Shepard is already approved (3 a's). :D

i'll bet the Moore would be approved as an adult book if you submit it.

I just managed to erase the original reply to you, but all three books are good.

Bk 3 - Mariana by Susanna Kearsley (3 S's and 3 A's) - 352 pgs
Will these all work?
How about Kate Anderson Brower? She has 3 R's in her name. The book is The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House

These look good. Have fun with them.
Cindie wrote: "How about Kate Anderson Brower? She has 3 R's in her name. The book is The Residence: Inside the Private World of the White House"Cindie, Kate Anderson Brower works as an author name, but the book you've chosen does not have page numbers listed. Make sure it has at least 250 pages and have a librarian fix the records for you before you post it.

Great! Thank you. My copy has 304 pp
Hello. For this challenge I plan to read the following books, can you please let me know if they all meet the requirements? Also, for Book 3, the author has 3 As and 3 Rs. When posting this as a completed task, should I specify both letters or just one? Thanks!Book 1: Stiff: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers
Book 2: Speaker for the Dead
Book 3: Dead Until Dark

I've read all of these books--my advise is not to read chapter 1 of Stiff while eating! Other than that it's a great book.

Hi again, someone must have fixed it since you looked: I requested a librarian to add page numbers then looked up the pp number myself and saw that it is listed as 352 pp. Thanks!

Melanie wrote: "For # 3 - can I get approval for Elizabeth Wein - 3 E's.Thanks :-)"
As long as the book you chose fits for length and meets general criteria, she's a good fit.
Just a heads Up. Sandy has alerted me to the fact that the book Longitude: The True Story of a Lone Genius Who Solved the Greatest Scientific Problem of His Time is not long enough to qualify for this task, so I am taking it off the list.I apologize to those of you that I misled.

Great. I think I am going to read Black Dove, White Raven by Elizabeth Wein
There is no mass market paperback yet but hardcover is 368 and paperback says 480 pages.
This is my plan:
1. Neverwhere by Neil Gaiman - 370 pages
2. Throne of Jade by Naomi Novik - 398 pages
3. Black Dove, White Raven by Elizabeth Wein - 368/480 pages

This looks great (in fact, I quickly whipped over to put it on hold at the library). According to SRC rules, use the paperback for paging purposes.
Option 1: Summertime by Raffaella BarkerOption 2: The Angel's Game(The Cemetery of Forgotten Books, #2) by Carlos Ruiz Zafón
Option 3: Tea Time for the Traditionally Built by Alexander McCall Smith

Claire, the first two look good. but Tea Time is too short.

I may have to trade out Book 2 since I don't think I'll get to the Holsinger book before the end of the challenge. So I think I'll sub in
by Margaret Atwood, which is the second Maddaddam book. I'm about half-way through the audio right now so it's a good bet I'll get this one done. :) (Have to recommend this audio version - they composed music and sing all the Gardener hymns which is nice and also kind of creepy because of the whole cult thing)Also going to shift The Book of Unknown Americans to 25.7 (Awards Season - TOB longlist!) - I needed to put Sweet Revenge by Lynsay Sands somewhere and Sands does have three S's in her name.
Ch-ch-changes!

Melissa, Change away. Don't forget when you post Year of the Flood that you'll also need a link to the paper copy for page length.
I'd like to read Promise Not to Tell for option 2. I have the kindle edition, but looks like the MMPB edition ends in 2 for page numbers, with 272 pages. Most of the page number counts in the list are over 250.
Works?

Looks like it works for this. Be sure you link to both the kindle edition you read AND the MMPB. Looks good.

Option 1: Jerusalem: A Family Portrait
option 3: The Secret Life of the Grown-up Brain: The Surprising Talents of the Middle-Aged Mind Barbara Strauch..."
Cindie, Jerusalem is fine.
Barbara Strauch is fine but that particular book doesn't have enough pages. If you are reading an edition with 250+ pages it's fine, but be sure you link to the correct edition.
