. Hi everyone! New here and happy to have found this Nora´s group. I´m from Spain and she´s my top favorite writer. Just finished this book and really hoping for the second part of Heritage to be translated into Spanish.
I finished The Duke Says I Do by Anna Campbell, the final book in Scoundrels of Mayfair, and it’s a bit steamy.

We had a great time in New Orleans. My favorite thing was touring the oldest cemetery in the city. So interesting! We ate lots of good food too. Loved the beignets and Seafood Etouffe.
I took a daughter and granddaughter for their Christmas and birthday presents. They have everything and I thought an adventure was a better gift. It was a lot of fun. Did you get out of New Orleans? I'm reading Blood Moon right and it is set in the bayou.
Anita wrote: "Did you get out of New Orleans? I'm reading Blood Moon right and it is set in the bayou."We pretty much stayed in the city. I would have liked to have done a swamp tour. I didn't get to see any live alligators at all.

We did get to see Mardi Gras World (fun) and the National World War II Museum (interesting but hard to find our way around it).
I love seafood and I like cheesecake, but that sounds like a strange combination.

I do know the city well. It changed a lot after Katrina.
My last visit before Katrina was work related. We were there to plan the sales trip for the top sales team for my company. So, we had a consultant taking us to a gazillion venues for consideration and the sites were trying to curry favor. It was outstanding. Hubby went to WWII Museum but he was there for a specific thing (which he found). We chose Mardi Gras World as one of our venues!
That seafood cheesecake? I was forced to eat it because it does sound awful. It was the best thing I’ve eaten in a long time. Still remember it.
Glad you had a good time.
