I had a long weekend and managed to finish 3 books! I usually do most of my reading during the weekend so it will probably be until earliest Friday before I finish anything else.
Almost finished with Hunger Games… I have a couple of books that I have to read for another challenge, sure I can find something that works for this challenge..
I'm happy to have read two books for the challenge so far. The book I'm currently reading will work too.
Two books completed from me too. Happy about that :)
So, would fire breathing Dragons count towards weapons or defense?
Oh and now that I'm thinking about it....I posted a book with lava as a weapon but now I'm thinking it would also be a kick ass defense. I DARE anyone to try and cross our moat of LAVA!!! (insert maniacal laughter here.)

I'm also having trouble distinguishing between shelter and weapon!Kind of confused with the game but all I can do now is read I guess!

Should get some reading done this week. Of course being away I have a full work week (usually only 2 days , so I'm overwhelmed!)

I'm over 50% of the way through four books (#MoodReader), only three of them are on the list so far because this romance doesn't feel like it fits anywhere haha

Has anyone read The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes? I know it's not part of the buddy reads but I figured I would go all in with The Hunger Games series and start with that before I start the first Hunger Games. I bet Coriolanus Snow is going to have a great story.
I read it a while back and really enjoyed it. SHE IS LONG though. Like unnecessarily long, IMO. But I really had a good time with it.If you haven't read The Hunger James (I will always make this stupid word joke, sorry) I don't think I'd recommend reading Ballad first?

@Sam - The Seven Year Slip is on your shelf but shows that you began reading on May 10. If this is the case then we won't be able to use it since the game didn't begin until May 15. If not, can you please fix the start date to whenever you starting reading it?@Louise - please add a start date for Broken Homes and A Dead and Stormy Night

Melissa I read the book and commented on my update progresses. Not sure where to participate. But I will do so, guessing you posted a link ☺️ My apologies, this week was hell with work. Tomorrow after my inservice I can put my energies back in the challenge and reading.😅
