Kathryn Kincaid was the love of Grayson Monroe's life, he had their future planned out and was ready for his next career move. Then Kathryn disappears without a trace, six years later Grayson sees a picture of Kathryn with a little girl who has his eyes. Grayson wants answers and he is furious with Kathryn.
Kathryn did what she had to do to protect herself and the man she loved. Now he wants answers she is unwilling to give. Can Kathryn come clean and can Grayson forgive her?
I really enjoyed this one but the Kathryn back story left me with some questions that were unresolved for me. The chemistry between Kathryn and Grayson is intense. Grayson is pure alpha male and I was intrigued with the other characters in the book. If you are a fan of this author's other writings some of the characters are in this one.
Should I read another one, it looks like we need around 280 pages. Chris is your book enough to cover or should I read another?

To say I LOVED this grumpy sunshine romance about a sport I have no interest in is a massive understatement. The chemistry, both in and out of the bedroom, between Josephine and Wells is so well written. If you love the troupes "he's an a**hole to everyone but me" and "he just needs the love of a good woman", this book is a must read.

Review: Oskar's persona fits the title to a T, so much so the PR manager himself takes over his case personally. Lane has had several of his people working with Oskar and no one has been able to reign him in.
Once Lane starts spending time with Oskar, he realizes that it's more to him than what he portrays himself to be. They both also realize that the attraction they've felt is too hard to ignore even if it means putting their careers in jeopardy.

An interesting tale of a group of adventurers on a quest to save Cardiff in Wales from a dragon being summoned back to life. I liked the author's style of detailed world building and creating interesting characters. It clearly is a first book in the series and I liked it enough to see what happens next to our jewellery & weapons crafter, half dwarf Amethyst.

The one thing that did not work for me about this one is Bray talking to his hoo haw Junior repeatedly through the book.
Reilly hooks up with Bray and it is the best night she has ever had, sadly cops show up at his door the next morning and it is all too familiar to what happened to her dad. Reilly walks away without another glance, problem is she is working for his brother and Reilly finds herself in close proximity with Bray. The intense connection they have is only growing, can she take on Bray and keep her heart intact?
This was fun. A lot of banter between the two. I do think you definitely need the first book to get to know all the characters.

Review: Beatrix and Christopher basically fall in love by accident. Before she read his letter to her vapid, self-centered friend, she didn't even like him. As for Christopher, he thought he was falling for someone else.
I love how real everything felt when Christopher came home from war. He is experiencing signs of what we know today as PTSD, but of course at that time they didn't have a name for it. I was glad that Lisa Kleypas didn't make it seem like the things he went through didn't affect him in any way.
The bonus was getting to see most of the other characters that we've come to love. A great ending to this series.

Entitled playboy Christopher decides to prove everyone wrong and backpack through Europe on his own. Hayden finally is convinced to let go of her past heartbreak and sees backpacking as a good way to move on. I liked the friendship that forms between the two, despite the instant attraction. Hayden is a great character who grows and stays strong for what she needs. Christopher, while redeemable, is still selfish, and frustratingly couldn't find a way for he and Hayden to stay together despite owning billions?

Mackenzie Mayfair gave up everything for her husband and in doing so lost her way, she has had enough of being belittled by him and wants out. Deciding she has had enough she leaves him and on her way out the door meets Dylan Jackson who offers her a job and new start at his brother Grayson's job.
Not sure if she made the right choice, Mackenzie goes for it and even though her boss is surly, handsome, and hard to read she is loving her new life. Could Grayson see Mackenzie as more though then a secretary? Clueless about her beauty or magnetism Mackenzie is about to find out.
This was highly entertaining. Laugh out loud funny, Mackenzie is a motor mouth who doesn't always realize that she is speaking out loud. Loved Grayson, slow burn romance and a book to savor.

I really enjoyed Catherine's growth as a character in believing she deserves good things in her life, including finding love with Brett. Their relationship was disappointing as it was mostly based on insta lust and dramatic circumstances, To be honest I was a little sad Catherine didn't end up with Keith. The theme of family, both the one you are born with and the one you choose, was well written.
