I've only read the 1st from Souls Chapel Revenants MC, I didn't continued the series but these ones I liked the first and the second book.
Do you have any recs from LLV?

Anyway, the thing I like about her books is that the characters from series to series are usually connected.
If you go to my read shelf and search her name you can see my ratings or go to my reviews. There's a lot to like in my opinion, but there were some misses for me also.

Thats one of my favorites. The first book is a bit different but I was thrilled with it. The others are not quite as weird as this one with Six.

The price is high. Our library has a few which helps.

A fun escape from reality kind of read with "brother's best friend" and "enemy to lovers" flavours. Gia and Saxon had great chemistry in & out of the bedroom. The hunt for the missing gems was entertaining and I liked Gia's sassy nature in getting herself out of trouble instead of waiting on Saxon and her brothers for a rescue.
Fav Quote:
“Tell me you want me?” he demanded. “More than anything.” The words tumbled out of her. “So much it hurts.” She wrapped her hands around his wrist. “Give it back to me, Saxon. Tell me.” “I can’t breathe without wanting you, Gia Norcross.” He lowered his mouth to hers. “Only you.”

Never one to not have excitement in her life, Angelina Santiago is not quite sure how she has ended up naked in front of a hillbilly tiger, who although gorgeous, is pissing her off to no end with his lust filled eyes.
Nikolai Vorislav is done with humans, even with the most gorgeous woman in front of him, nude with a hint of a tattoo and curves that don't end, she wouldn't be able to handle him. However, Nikolai has never met a more vicious, hot tempered, siren in his life. She won't back down, has a mean arm that packs a powerful punch, and for some reason everyone else wants to get to know her. Nikolai plans to keep her for himself though, even though cats don't commit, he may just rethink it if it means keeping her.
Hilarious, loved it.
***Decided to reread because I had just read Miki's story and forgot a lot about this one. This is better the second time around, Nik is pure yumminess...

Review: Violet is a witch, but a witch with no magic. She is also the oldest of the Maxwell Triplets. I don't know if I've ever read a book that had triplets or more. Anyway, she is given three months to find someone to witch bond with or she will be paired with someone not of her choosing.
Lincoln is a shifter and the alpha of the North American Pack. He is on a mission to make some changes in the supernatural community, but he also has to either find a mate by his next birthday or be forced to marry the mate of the counsel's choosing.
Violet and Lincoln have known one another since they were kids, he is the man that broke her heart, but now they are faking a relationship to get the counsel off their backs.
The thing is feelings from the past may not be extinct and to add to it what happens if a magic-less witch starts experiencing a bit of a spark. How and why is this happening. Then to add to that Lincoln has a battle on his hands trying to make the changes for the betterment of the supernatural community.
I loved these two together. Actually, I really liked all of the characters and I'm hoping that April Asher gives us more and more past the triplets. The world building was great and the chemistry between the characters was outstanding.

Review: It's always interesting to get an individual's take on supernatural communities and this one was a bit different from the ones that usually catch my attention. Here we have vampyres, shifters, and humans that are similar in appearance, but different biologically since they can't reproduce across species. The species are usually at odds, so they've found ways to attempt to keep the peace.
This time around Misery is being married off to Lowe in the midst of a deal between the vampyre's and the shifters. She doesn't have an easy time of it in his territory since no one trusts her. And not long after being there someone attacks her. Now she has a husband who doesn't want her and she's living amongst people who would have no problem seeing her dead.
Things are not always what they seem. She soon has the opportunity to show people that she's more than what their misconceptions and experience with vampyres in the past have taught them. She also realizes that what she thought was true when it came to the people in her life may not be true at all.
I really like Misery and how determined she was to find her friend at all costs, but the reason I didn't give this a higher rating, even though I enjoyed it, is because there was no mystery. Everything that was revealed I had already guessed at, so by the time we got to the end it felt anticlimactic and I didn't like that she chose to bury her head in the sand when it came to the punishment that was going to be given. After everything she and the people she cared about went she should have been enough of a badass to say what that punishment should be.
We were left with a HFN ending for Misery & Lowe and a hint of more to come with other characters. I do wish we had gotten more of an epilogue because I would really like to know if some of the other things they thought may have been wrong.

Viktor Vetrov took Rosalie when they annihilated her family. For three years he has kept her in his home, hoping one day she would see him the way he sees her but when she turns twenty one she leaves. Now Rosalie is in danger, not knowing that her family had a debt still owed and she will be the sacrifice. Regretting leaving Viktor he comes for her, but will he save her in time?
This one was good, but not my favorite in the series. I was always intrigued with Viktor and wanted to see where his story would lead. I felt for Rosalie, it was seeing her character grow and come full circle with understanding what all happened with her family.

I wanted to read this one for quite a while.

Task 15 - 78. Read 6 books with alliteration in the title or author's name.
Books selected for this task need to have alliteration in either the title or the author's name. There can be one small word such as, in or and between the alliterated words in the title. So books such as Spook Squad or Divided in Death would work. And authors like Lucy Lennox and Eli Easton would also work.

and I may be able to get to either Salt in the Wound by Sierra Simone (177 pgs.) or Not Your Ex's Hexes by April Asher (349 pgs.)

Review: Betsy, Eric, and Jessica fly to the Cape Cod to take the body of Antonia back to her pack. Antonia was killed trying to protect Betsy, but now some of the pack blames Betsy for her death, and she has to appear before their council to explain.
Good thing Betsy doesn't tend to take things laying down, so she quickly calls them on their crap behavior which led Antonia away from the pack in the first place. On top of that something strange is going on with BabyJon.
Back at the mansion Marc is dealing with a huge mess. He tries to help when satan worshipers come a 'calling on Laura. His ideas take things from bad to worse. Now Laura is on a mission to "help" Betsy and free her of her sins and this does not spell good things, on top that Tina is missing.
I liked the addition of Marc's diary entries and the fact that we still got to see what was going on while the crew was separated and didn't have to just hear about it 2nd hand.
I know Betsy comes off as a ditz most of the time and people tend to underestimate her due to this. The thing is when the chips are down Betsy shows up and does her thing, even when she doesn't know exactly what she's doing.
It's the reason I continue with this series. She is annoying, but she's funny and she will kick ass when it counts.

The Valose saga continues with Tikkot & Isobel. Their story occurs concurrently with Aggar & Jane's story, which is the previous book in the series.
There is a lot going on in this book with plenty of action, new enemies, new tribes, and in the middle of it all, a couple that didn't win me over. Isobel is most of the problem as she is not very likeable: impulsive, bossy, suspicious, and delusional in her belief of leaving the planet. Tikkot so desperately wants his mate, he accepts any interaction, even if she a witch to him & blames it on hormones. Add in all the new additions to the story arc and I found myself loosing interest. Thankfully the next book is a long awaited story for Elise and war is breaking out.

With intergalactic politics arriving on Valose, war is everywhere. Vallon has been charged with protecting the earth females since their arrival. He and Elise become good friends, but he knows Elise is his fated mate and suspects she does too. Elise is mute with no voice box and thinks Vallon doesn't deserve a defective mate. Vallon proves that not only is she special in his eyes but also the answer to the war ahead.
Fav Quote:
"You have to trust in your spirit, nula." Vallon lifted his head and looked me in the eyes. "It recognizes its match in me. If not that, then trust what you feel in your heart. This tug I see you rubbing in the center of your chest speaks volumes. If you're only withholding yourself for my sake, please don't. I would rather have a short time of happiness with you in this realm, knowing we will be together again in the next, than a lifetime of grief and die knowing you will not be there waiting for me in the Realm of the Spirits."

Blayne Thorpe is a spirited wolf dog whose thoughts and actions run a hundred miles a minute. She has caught the interest of Bo Novikov, the seven feet, 400 lb shifter and notorious hockey player who has a reputation of being just plain mean. Blayne decides Bo needs a life and to be happy, this is the opening that Bo needs to convince Blayne he wants her to be happy. Danger lurks in the background though as hybrid shifters are being kidnapped and tortured to fight in the pits until their death, and Blayne is the next one on their list.
What a wonderful series, absolutely relished in every page. This was hilarious, captivating, and just pure out fun

Review: I'm glad I'm reading this before leaping into the pain story. It is very eye opening and even though I'm sure you don't need to, and I've only read the blurb for book 1, I hope everyone reads this first.
Isolde is a young woman still in HS the first time she meets Mark, then later she learns that she is to be his bride. No one asks her and she initially refuses, but in my mind, she is eventually manipulated into it.
Isolde is basically a pawn of her father, uncle, and Mark in a game that I'm not sure she's ready to play. That being said I have to give to our girl, she is smart, and she is brave, because I would have never had been able to deal with the things she agrees to do at age.
I really felt like the men in her life decided to use her as a tool before she was old enough to know what she really wanted, and I think they are all more sinister than she knows. I can't wait to say how she grows and what knowledge she learns along the way about herself, but definitely about the true motives of the people who has placed her on this chest board.
The reason I didn't give this book 5 stars even though I enjoyed it is because I hate that her love of God was twisted by her uncle so much that she really thinks the things he asks of her is good. It was a perfect example of people taking the word of God and changing its meaning for their own benefit. It seemed like she worships her uncle and the church more than she did God himself.
This is definitely going to be interesting to see unfold. And if you didn't know just from the character's first names, this series is a retelling of Tristan and Isolde set in the same world as the New Camelot Trilogy.

This second chance love story is raw, messy tension with a serve of a cute four year old and some hockey hotness on the side. Cillian and Isla fell in love young and believe it's forever. When Cillian finds his hockey career taking off, temptation and insecurity leads to dumb decisions and breaking Isla's heart. If you can handle the angst and grief, reading how this couple find their way back to each other is a great read.

Crimson sees the hottest man she has ever seen in her life and finds herself intrigued enough to follow him. What happens next is a down and dirty interlude with him and then he walks away. Crimson doesn't expect to see him again but when her family uncovers some hard truths about her father, he is the man that is going to help him.
Winston Cyrus Osborn has his reasons for not pursuing Crimson but he can't seem to stay away. It doesn't help that at every turn Crimson is snooping into his business. Can the man with a hardened heart take what he wants, which is Crimson or is he going to walk away when it gets hard?
This was pretty dark, I enjoyed the story but it was a heavier topic than I expected. I liked Crimson, she is a spitfire and repeatedly surprised me. Winston was intriguing from the beginning and you definitely wanted to learn more.

Is Christmas in July a big thing in US? There was a push here in Australia a few years back because it is our cold season in July, but I don't think Aussies could be bothered & it never became a thing.

Prince Dorian Havilliard has come to offer the infamous Adarlan Assassin a chance to get out of the mines she has been sentenced to and win a chance at her freedom. Celaena Sardothien is not a fool, she is legendary and ruthless. Even though she hates the King, a competition of a tournament with the victor becoming the King's champion gives her endless possibilities of what she can make of her life. At eighteen there is much to do. Now to win.
Fantastic, really liked Celaena she is not intimidated, has a dry sense of humor and clever. One of my new favorite heroines. Everything about the story was fantastic, was not sure where the story was going to go which made it even more entertaining.
