I think we are good for green on that cover. I think it's over the 50% threshold.

Damn, January seems to be taking forever to end. I know this month is technically long but next week is STILL January lol
I know, right? I was just thinking about that this morning. These last 10 days of January have been DRAGGING.
lol @ that pictureIt's not just us challenge addicts, either, I saw this last night when browsing Twitter

Kadi wrote: "@Jennifer that book looks good! I’ve added it to my TBR. When you’ve read it please share your thoughts because if it is a good read I’d like to read it too!"It was highly recommended by a friend of mine and its been on my shelf for a bit. I will definitely let yo know.

Haha! Totally.
Z@Erin hahha that meme! On the one hand I feel like January has gone pretty quick but on the other hand I feel like we’ve been in the “almost February” part of January forever. I am literally itching to start my planned reads!

I am literally itchi..."Yeah I think that's it. Time always flies it seems but this month is oddly anticlimactic or something at the same time and February is just crawling out of range or something.

LOL
Truth!! This month feels like a year long!
@Namita sadly not. If you want a book to count as part of the challenge then it has to be started after this countdown: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown... reaches 0
Kadi wrote: "@Namita sadly not. If you want a book to count as part of the challenge then it has to be started after this countdown: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown......"Oh well, I gotta remove a book. Thanks for confirming Kadi.
Jennifer wrote: "I am listening to an audio book that is sooo long. I had no idea when I started and Im really feeling behind on my January reads now. Hopefully I will get everything finished up for Feb."I know how you feel. I am listening to 'The Running Grave' by Robert Galbraith on audio CD. It has 28 discs!
Kadi wrote: "@Namita sadly not. If you want a book to count as part of the challenge then it has to be started after this countdown: https://www.timeanddate.com/countdown......"This rule is very pesky! haha. Why are the last 2 days of January taking soooo long.
@Dorothy holy smokes 28 discs! That is a monumental task! I did finally finish my book and I’m trying to squeeze in Emily Wildes map of the other lands before Thursday. I’m half way through so I think I can do it! But, yes such a build up to February 1st!
I have some books for book club Tuesday and other challenges will be starting tomorrow to finish by weekend, so will see if any of those fit on our planning SS
Woohoo!!Tomorrow will be a busy day of work for me, but I plan to get a lot of reading done Friday and this weekend with a mini personal read-a-thon style weekend start
That's awesome, Erin. I have Friday night and Saturday blocked out for some read-a-thon activity myself. :)
Michelle wrote: "That's awesome, Erin. I have Friday night and Saturday blocked out for some read-a-thon activity myself. :)"My son has been sick this week but I havent caught it and am crossing fingers I don't. Do you have any special read-a-thon types plans you like to do? I indulge in porch reading since weather is nice, book baths, audio walks, but this weekend as long as I'm still not sickly I plan to do some yard work and porch cleaning with audio
I'm going to start The House Across the Lakes, The Broken Girls (have to have read by Tuesday for book club), a perry mason story because in the mood, and the audiobook of World War Z tomorrow since need for various challenges. I'm also going to finish a book I've already been reading that unfortunately wont count for Uno, but I had to time it to work with another challenge
When it's warm, reading on the porch is one of my favorite things! Unfortunately it's too cold and snowy here so I'll probably snuggle up on the couch with one of the dogs or cats, whoever decides I'm worthy at the moment. Or decides I'm the warmest spot. lol
Guys we are a go!🎉🎉 happy reading everyone!!😊Can’t wait to start on my first book which will be Boy X!

During summer I have to limit due to humidity and heat :/
Happy First Day of Uno, all!!
Happy first day of Uno! I need to finish Daisy Jones and the Six. I only have 3h left on audio. But I'll probably start with Hills of Heather and Bone. I'm reading all of the SPFBO9 books this year.
Man! Work can be annoying so far today, but determined to have a good, first day of UNO. When things calm down a bit going to start my first audio of the challenge soon while working. Have fun, all!
Ohhh So excited to start today. I had a long drive today about 3 hours so I got much of my first book, The Door to Door Bookshop done and I am really enjoying it. Will be starting One Puzzling Afternoon tonight and tomorrow Book of Three with my son. I also just got my hold for None of this is True in, so I am hoping that it will fit into the challenge as well. I hope you all have a great, cozy weekend of reading!
Work was heavy and long today so I only got some reading of one book in a bath when I clocked out for a bit (was nice!!), and hours of progress on the World War Z audio I started today while doing work related such and suchTomorrow I will be more rested up and have much less work. May go out in evening for few hours but otherwise all weekend and most of Friday will be reading city
I will start my book tonight. I don't think I can do more than a chapter....lol...Erin, work really is overrated when you are chomping at the bits to start reading!
Happy Reading everyone!!
It’s snowing here and I’m home from work. Cuddled up with one of the dogs and the new rescue kitten. Diving into a quiet night of reading after supper.
I went out this evening and now have a headache so unfortunately may be turning in early for an early morning tomorrow. Hope it's a good weekend for all :)
Wow! Super cool it’s snowing for you Michelle and Jennifer! There’s nothing like snuggling up at home with a good book when it’s snowing. It just adds an extra level of whimsy to it
Ugh I just got home from coffee shop and grocery store. I am dragging - very annoying; however, at least I don't have anywhere else to go this weekend and still have plenty of weekend hours left until Monday morning rears its head.
First UNO weekend come and gone - hope everyone got some nice reading in. I finished a few yesterday and, besides this small chest cold, enjoyed the weekend (and the books).
I did some reading but unfortunately most for non-Uno qualifying books! Weekends with a 1 year old are generally not conducive to relaxation and reading.
You guys are fast readers, very impressive! I'm hoping to finish my first read in a few days, it's been a pretty good one and it's not too long. Also, guys please don't be worried if your book has gone walk about on the spreadsheet. I've been moving books around to see if we can finish the first hand. We're one 7 off right now but I'm still checking all the books that have been completed.
Please can everyone make sure they write down all possible cards on the spreadsheet or share it here on the chat! It's always funny when I open the book page on Goodreads to check it's the right title details on the spreadsheet and I can see like 3 more cards it could count for just from the synopsis so I'm sure there could be more hidden inside books too! The more we have done, the easier it is to rearrange books and finish hands
And we've finished our first hand!!🎉 Great job guys! And shout out to Vermont for being a location in not one but two books😂
