How are things coming for you, Vi?

I should be finishing up by tomorrow morning. I'll be up late reading, as usual.

Vi | 2795 comments Yeah, that was very fast. I finally settled on Bishop - both KarenH and MKat have read it. I'm about halfway in and will probably finish tonight which should align with tomorrow morning for you I think? It's 17th morning here

MountainKat | 31756 comments Oh, you make it so easy for me when you all read books I've read - I just have to check the page count!

And I love Jill Shalvis - her humor works well for me. And there is always humor no matter how serious things might get - because sometimes all you can do is laugh.

MountainKat | 31756 comments Here is your next task!

Task 10 - 49. Each teammate reads a book published in the same month and year, teams decide. No pass for this task.

As a team select a month and year, then each teammate reads a book initially published in that month and year. Make sure you use the initial publication date. If there is a date at the top of the editions page, use it. Otherwise, I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include the selected month/year combo in your completion posts.

Vi | 2795 comments I'm reading Building From Ashes. I'll be a bit slow I think as I've started a bootcamp and it's intensive.

Breann | 398 comments I’ve been trying to convince my kids to read this series!! I think my 11 year old would love it. My 13 year old only wants to read manga now.

message 222: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (kathrynr227) | 226 comments I love every single book I've ever read by this man. He's brilliant. And he owns his own publishing company where he takes on other authors who write middle grade adventure novels that involve mythology.

MountainKat | 31756 comments Sorry about that! Will get a new task for you now. No matter how many times or thoroughly I check, I will do this at least once each round.

message 227: by MountainKat, Moderator (new)

MountainKat | 31756 comments Here is your real next task! 🙄

Task 11 - 46. Read over 1000 850 pages in books written by duo authors.

Books selected for this task need to be written by two authors. If both authors names are listed on the main book page/cover, then just list the authors as your qualification. If the two authors write under a pseudonym such as Ilona Andrews, then include a link to the pseudonym's profile page or a website showing the pseudonym is two authors. Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count.

Let me check and see what I can find for 2011. If I can find something easy enough, I'm totally fine with that.

EDIT: Okay, I found something. It's long, though.
I'm going to read The Night Circus

message 239: by Vi (new)

Vi | 2795 comments Sorry to be the dissenting voice.. I prefer 2020 as I have multiple short(er) books that I can read. Can you find books in 2020? I do have a couple for 2011 but they are longer.
