I've finished the Throne of Glass series and loved it so much.
I've only read the first A Court of Thorns & Roses book and really loved it.
I can't see myself reading the 2nd book in that series for a challenge, though, so it's been put off over and over again. Such a long book.

The Throne of Glass series is one of my favorites of all time. The first book was good, but the rest of the series was amazing. The MC is the way she is for a reason. Trauma will also make you act in ways that might not make sense to everyone else. That's all I can say without giving anything away.

I'm taking you on your word because Calaena kinda annoyed me but the foreshadowing is intriguing. Also read another book that had this very similar triangle and very similar choice made so a little wary about it too. But I'll definitely be continuing the series.

Yeah, even the stupid love triangle thing improves. If you don't enjoy the second book, however, you may feel iffy on the rest of the series as well. Though I felt, for me, it got better with each book.
