I don't have a shelf on here for my ebooks I really should and I'm trying to mark books as I read them.

I know Nook's can use Epubs its just a matter of drag and drop once your nook is hooked up to your computer.

I don't know tell me who your looking for/at and I might have it, I read mostly PNR, UF and YA so I'm bound to have something.

I deal mostly with Epubs but if you have Calibre on your computer you can convert to the mobi format that kindle uses, it's super easy.

Read an 8 in a series, or else the alternate: 8. Text Item Garage.

Please note ★New item - Text item, your book must contain the given word and need to include the sentence with it and location when posting your review. Plurals will be ok to use.

For example Cat...

.page 57 "bob sat on the mat with a large orange cat on his hat".

I know a couple of us here like PNR, and the first one that came to mind for me for this alternate (if needed) is the Mercy Thompson series, because she works in a garage and the word is very likely to come up.

message 71: by [deleted user] (new)

I'll be going with the alternate option, not sure what I'm going to read yet . I'm going to do some book hunting in the morning :)

message 72: by Amy (new)

Amy Anderson (sallystitches31) | 147 comments yikes garage huh??

message 73: by Amy (new)

Amy Anderson (sallystitches31) | 147 comments is there a certain way we can scan the text in a book or something so we know what to pick??

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Amazon has the look inside feature for most books where you a search for words , that's one way to find out if your book has the word your looking for.

And that is only probably a 1/4 of what I still have on my PC,I've been collecting ebooks and ebook series for a long time now :)

message 76: by Nicole (new)

Nicole Field (nicolefield) | 245 comments That's a really good idea, Kat.

I'm thinking I'm gonna go with The Fiery Heart by Richelle Mead cause the main character loves her car and there's a good chance a garage would be mentioned.

But now I used that Amazon search, which is amazing, and one of my library books that I need to read asap has the word garage in it so now I'm debating on just doing that one My True Love Gave to Me Twelve Holiday Stories by Stephanie Perkins lol so many decisions

Ahhh suggestions?? Both seem like easy quick reads

SS Team Challenge R5

Rafael (Stone Society #1) by Faith Gibson

Space:8
Rolled:2&6
Alternate:Garage Text
Finished:21/03/15
Rating:4.5♥

Review:
This is a great start the Stone Society Series. Faith Gibson has introduced us to a band of warriors who are shapeshifters called Goyles or Gargoyles and they are charged with protecting humans from The Unholy modified humans that only know how to kill.

Gibson's world building is good she doesn't dump and whole lots of info on you all at once but spreads it out through out the book. The main Characters Kaya and Rafael are very likeable and I enjoyed the build up with their relationship. The sex scenes where Hot and so are the men ;)

I have to say not bad for a first book in a new series, I will be continuing on with Gregor, book 2 in the very near future.

Garage: Pg 68 he was pulling into the parking garage at Stone,Inc.

Erin | 239 comments Finished Roll 1 Book
Rolled 2 + 6 = 8
Alternate: Garage found in text
Finished: 3/22
Rating: 4 stars
Quote: "May I put them down in the garage?" page 208

Review:
As usual I wanted to jump into the book and strange Becky for her foolish spending and compulsive lying, but again as usual I still enjoyed reading the book. I really liked the ending how Suze and Becky were reunited and Luke came back. And I do hope Becky tries to keep up some of those frugal habits (probably not going to happen but one can dream can't I?)

This novel was a slower start than the others in this series, largely because it was the first one that picked up with a duel viewpoint. I really hate it when books do that midway through a series, but moving on, and it's not handled anywhere near as neatly as it was in the book that previously shared point of view between Rose and Lissa.

It's been acknowledged before, but in no previous book in this series was it as clear how different a series Bloodlines was to Vampire Academy. Sydney works for a shadowy group called the Alchemists, who we know have very strict protocol on what they are and are not able to engage on when sent on a field assignment. For the first three books, we have seen how she has attempted to balance what she knows is right according to her upbringing with what she feels is right given the situation. In this book, that is further complicated by her younger sister being brought in on that assignment and suddenly able to watch Sydney's every move. We have wishes, of course, that Zoe is going to be able to see reason, but are still braced for what we expect will be her sudden yet inevitable betrayal.

In the previous set of books, the main character, Rose, was headstrong and often went against the natural order of things according to her society's norms. For the most part, the ends of those actions justified the means, and she rarely ever got more than a slap on the wrist for those actions. The one time she ended up in jail was over something which she had nothing to do with.

From the beginning, we've seen multiple times how strict the re-educating of any lapsed Alchemists is. And in The Fiery Heart that's brought to the fore again. I was just waiting for the consequences that the narrative has been promising and leading up to, and I was not disappointed.

What I could not believe was that they left this book on a cliffhanger! Although it made perfect sense, the tension and anticipation were building amazingly and I just wanted to see more of it play out in this book. Hopefully, when i pick up the next one, that sense of anticipation will have been preserved.

Garage: "Exploring a vampire's garage was akin to going into a crypt, in her eyes." page 132.
