Rating/Review:⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. I was surprised how much I liked this book. It is described as humorous, funny and usually I think books like that fall flat for me. But this is a humorous book about a woman unexpectedly cast in the role of matchmaker to society men and women. She has uncanny knack for making matches that others don’t see along with making one for herself.

Review: ⭐⭐⭐⭐.25 While very loosely a time travel series, issues of time travel are not always central in all books in the series. This volume focuses on the politics of the King of France, Duchy of Aquitaine, England and Wales, circa 1293. Romance and character development take a back seat to history, so I can't binge the series, since each book reads like real history. Ten books into the series, and I have not spotted any errors in historical research by Woodbury.
