Sure thing, Sammy :-)I'll try to dive into reading this weekend to get that Justice book done, if not, then a good chunk in the martial arts one. I'll see. I've got a bit too much planned over the next several days haha.
I do have next week off though so hopefully I'll get some quality reading time in between all the appointments I somehow managed to accumulate ;-)

My reading time is likely to plummet the next week or so, as it's my birthday tomorrow, my daughter is visiting for a week from Tuesday and the remastered version of Pharaoh was released yesterday, so I'll be building pyramids :D

Cool, you're slotted in for that one :-)Depending on how much reading time I'll get next week, I may not be able to read both Dawn and Twilight. The justice book is a little slow-going at the moment, but very little reading time as well and Thunderhead is a fat one haha, even if I'm a 1/3 through already.
E, I have possibilities for both tasks, but I’m more excited by my Dawn books, if that helps you choose what to focus on.
I don't mind either way! I want to continue both the Hathaways and the Morganville Vampires, so whatever you prefer :-)

Is this me? I'm starting Ruby Fever today. Also getting ready for vacation today and will be traveling tomorrow, so probably won't post until Sunday.
Because of vacation, reading will slow down next week... I am slotted for the Dragon task which I will still do. Not sure how many more I'll read though. Two or three for sure, just not sure what yet.
Oh, forgot. I am definitely reading Under Currents
which works for
tree(s) or a wooden object on the cover
body of water on the cover
I can also read Kitty and the Dead Man's Hand
which has a tiger on the cover
So I guess I do know what I'll be reading next week!
E, my current book just mentioned Krav Maga. I think you said you were already reading your martial arts book, but I thought I would mention it.

I have a stand alone going right now, for 0. Will be finished tomorrow, if not tonight.
I'm really hoping for Blue 0, 3, 6, 8, or 9 next month. I'm going to read this one for another challenge!

I put you down for the body of water and the tiger
Laura wrote: "E, my current book just mentioned Krav Maga. I think you said you were already reading your martial arts book, but I thought I would mention it."Ok, good to know, thanks.
I'll read the Twilight book first then and if I don't manage to read the rest of the massive Thunderhead, I'll keep that for next month and we can use yours. We'll see how we'll manage once we're closer to the end of the month :-)

Yep, that's you :-)
No rush! Posting on Sunday or even on Monday will be plenty of time.
Happy vacation!! :-)

I'm going to put this one down for Trees on cover, since we get more points on the direction ones if it's in the title, rather than the text.

I'm perfectly ok with you not using any of the books I throw at you by the way. I'm reading stuff for other challenges too that I want to get read before the end of the month, so going a tad over.
I've found books for the 'BEAST' task, as well as NORTH, SOUTH and EAST tasks on audible plus. I'm happy to read any of them, and also happy not to, so if anyone is planning something for those tasks, holler and I'll skip 'em :)ETA: There are plenty of winter/autumn books on there too :)

I believe Emelie is reading for the Red 9, but she hasn't been feeling the reading mojo, so it would be a good back-up to have!

I also have Fall & Winter possibilities, but I'm not really interested in them. :)
I understood that we could use our hand cards for the mini challenge both? If I come across any of the mini items in my reads, I'll list them too.
Jodi wrote: "I understood that we could use our hand cards for the mini challenge both? If I come across any of the mini items in my reads, I'll list them too."Yes, books can work for both the Uno cards and the Mini-challenge tasks.
Kayt wrote: "If we still need a Beast, book. I can grab that. Just came home with a new book... :)"I'll put you down for this one.

Do you have anything else that would work for a 2 Blue?
I'm going to go battle my justice book again now. It's tiresome reading with block passages and more narration than anything actually happening. It's put me to sleep several times yesterday... If I can't get a move on this morning, I'm going to switch to the Twilight book for a bit of a lighter read.
And next month, I am going to read books I am actually going to be able to read at a decent pace :-p
E, I’m re-reading a few In Death books in the next few days for Turf Wars. I bet at least one of them works for that task, if you want to give up on your Justice one.
Laura wrote: "E, I’m re-reading a few In Death books in the next few days for Turf Wars. I bet at least one of them works for that task, if you want to give up on your Justice one."Actually, never mind. None of them work. :(
