Thank you so much! Go ahead and slot me for that, I have my tea and blanket ready. I love that book so much! It is like visiting an old friend.

I do love that book, too! I was looking at the Winter genre the other day, and if no one else had anything, I was trying to decide between that one and re-listening to From Lukov with Love.

I love Narnia - the idea, the setting, etc. But I always have trouble with the books, sadly. The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe movie is wonderfully made though :-)
Did I spend 2 hours and 45 mins of the 3 hour Teams call (i was only needed for 15 mins of it). Sorting my books into uno numbers shelves... yup! I knew if I started reading I would get to wrapped up in the book and if someone said my name I wouldn't hear it... soooooo.Welcome to a snowy work from home day in Reno :)
I don't think this works for anything left open, but just in case.Completion Post🔹LaurLa

LaurLa, can you mark this one as read and put it on your Uno shelf, pretty please? Thank you!

I find such long calls where you mostly are not even needed extremely tedious, so this was definitely a much better use of your time ;-)

Am I finishing the teal letter book, or did someone else cover that? And is there anything else left to cover?
If you can finish the teal letter book, that'd be cool but I started one with green letters on the cover to cover for you in case the book is too blergh :-)Everything else is claimed and should soon be finished.
However if not, see below!
Small note for everyone:
As we're nearing the end of the month, if you're unsure you're going to finish any cards/tasks you have claimed, please let us know as soon as possible so someone else could still try and complete something to finish up this month.
Thank you!
I’ll be done with my ‘Day’ book today, and should have the other 2 completed by the end of tomorrow.

I can read
for a Wild Draw 4 for the Blue 1.Is this blue enough? If so, I can read it for the Blue Skip.
Red? If so, the MC is nicknamed Nix, so it would work for that Red 9.
I also have
, which can duplicate a Red Skip.
First and last yes, the two middle ones aren't enough of their respective colour.Nice green by the way :-p
I will likely finish my book today. I'm going to check in later. And will also look what I still have for the colour or reverse cards in case I can help :)Fyi, regarding the reverse cards, I'm up to date with the Mercy Thompson series as well as the Alpha & Omega series in case someone wants to read those books. I remember seeing a Mercy book pop on the thread somewhere.

I can cover the blue or green or teal letters on the cover, Sammy, if you don't have anything handy. This should work and is relatively short.
It's blue, green or teal, so your cover would definitely work, LaurLa :-)I'll let Sammy weigh in if she is going to manage to finish her drag of a book or if she'd rather you or I cover for her. I'll gladly stretch my book out into March :-)

Always good to have options for Reverse! :-) A lot of us have read Mercy it seems hehe. I still have to read the very last one but it isn't out in my paperback edition yet. Soon soon though!

Sounds good. I'm very happy to read them, but don't want to hog all the coloured cards, lol.

FEBRUARY UPDATE
We have only two more coloured cards to cover, which we're waiting on Jodi to finish, which are 2 Blue and 9 Red.
For 2 Blue, we have back-ups finished and for 9 Red, Kayt is reading a back-up, just in case you cannot finish, Jodi - do let us know in time though, thanks :-)
Audrey is finishing up a book tagged autumn to finish our last remaining task. Laura can throw in a quick read as back-up if for some reason you cannot finish, Audrey - you know the drill, thanks :-)
Everything else is DONE!
Well done everyone! :-D
Any books you are currently reading, please hold off on finishing them until March rolls around otherwise, they are "wasted" - though I never call reading a book wasted hehe, but it would more useful if we could put them towards our March cards instead of simply not using them. Because, as you all know, books cannot be banked.
THIS is the countdown to the start of March:

The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, is shelved as a winter book.
But, I can't find the word count requirement for YA/middle grade books which is what i would classify this under. The word count is 36,363. If it is not under, I could happily read that tomorrow while I am snowed in.
