For me being in the caboose has paid off. I have finally finished my the book I was reading and can begin The Seven Moons of Maali Almeida and I discovered that my niece in Australia is reading it as well, so we are reading buddies. We have very similar reading tastes.

Eh, Camp Caboose is here for the duration, and will be a never-ending party, with gamers rotating through at intervals, some staying only for a quick drink and chat, others staying to grab a nap or a quiet place to read for a few days. As I write this, carpenters are finishing up closing off and soundproofing a corner for those needing a quiet place and chaise lounge to make progress on that fat book you stuck on your list, or the one keeping you from your Subdue Book.

Since I will be there a few more days, I will interview and hire a few studly cabanna boys 🏋‍♂️🏋‍♂️ to peel 🍇 🍇 and keep the ☂️☂️ in the🍷🍸🍹🥃🥤🧋🧃🧉☕️🫖🍵, whether they be cups of tea, bottles of soda, glasses of juice, martini glasses, or a flute of champagne.

The Caboose Reading Nook is nearly completed and the cabanna boy interviews progressing. Given a certain person calling dibs on the chaise, another has been ordered. With all this supervision I have yet to start my first book!

I did finish my Feminerdy chunkster and we had a fabulous discussion today! Also finished a book I had barely started for December Flurries but could not get back to earlier. It fit Food tag!

Just one more fast read before I get to the Subdue book. The Caboose Reading Nook should be finished by then.

Gosh, I didn't realize "winning" is just getting around the board once. If people roll high numbers or get lucky with the special rolls, it could be really fast. My goal is to keep going and try to read as many as possible, whether that wins a prize or not.
