Oh yes..I liked it a lot. Originally, I chose it because the whole concept of women who trained and lived their lives as Geisha in Japan, intrigued me. I hoped the book would offer an insight into this culture. However, I later got to know about the controversies surrounding the book and the questionable accuracy of some things stated in the book. I'd like to read Geisha, a Life whenever I manage to get my hands on it.

Nevertheless, this book was thoroughly enjoyable, though I felt the author stretched it a bit towards the end, and the story could have been wrapped up in less than 400 pages.
4 stars★★★★

Thanks for answering. I had not heard about the book Geisha, a Life but I just added it to my "To read" list! Sounds great so I appreciate the info.
