I am finishing up a Hoopla borrow and still have 2 left this month so I will likely pick something for this with one of those.

Susan (jazzescrapper) | 329 comments I'm Susan and have played PtP for a long time but for the last year stopped doing any challenges. I'm excited to be backand playing one of my favorite challenges.

I've been married for 36 years April 4th. We have 7 kids, 6 boys and one girl and 12 grandchildren. I was raised in Las Vegas my whole life so 56 years. I love to read and love all genres.

I'm a HUGE BTS fan and was so excited when I saw the picture of the guys when I clicked on the challenge. I can even tell you the song that picture if from (Idol in case you doubt me LOL ) 😆 my sister and I get to see them next week and are so SO OVERLY excited. I speak no Korean but it doesn't matter their music is incredible. Super fan here sorry I could go on and on but I'll spare those who have no clue.

My Boss Is a Grumpy Werewolf and I Think He Wants to Eat Me!
Rating: 3 stars
Review:It was a typical werewolf book where the werewolves were known to humans. It was a little nice not to have true mates and all that, although Evan still felt a pull to Cole. I really enjoyed the little twist towards the end but I just think it was anticlimactic. You expected the bad guys to be beaten and for everything to work out.

This is the first book I read by this author and I really enjoyed it. There was lots of snarky banter which is my favorite thing, I loved Sam and Gideon and the secondary characters were very fun as well. The narration was top notch as well, definitely recommend the book and narration. Looking forward to continuing the series.

Review: I really enjoyed this book - Ronan is running around in a remote part of Scotland in bear form when Anisa drops from the sky - literally! A French intelligence officer she is on the run as she is being framed for an international crime. The two of them bond immediately and she even copes with his bear part. Then the baddies find out where she is and the race is on to save Anisa from being framed. After a bit of a Ho hum beginning, I was hooked and stayed up until the wee small hours to get through the nonstop adventure to the HEA

At seven books in, I’m clearly a fan of this series. This was an interesting installment where Toby’s nemesis the Queen finally goes one step too far, setting off a chain of events with the ultimate goal of removing the Queen from her throne. I enjoyed revisiting with past books’ characters that are now part of Toby’s collection of allies, but there was something about this book that felt a bit disjointed which is why I didn’t give it a higher rating. I also wish that Toby would stop acting the martyr at every turn - I know she’s the hero of Faerie, but being the sacrificial lamb all the time starts to get old after a while. Love the Ludaieg, and any scenes she’s in are usually my favorites.

Review- I wasn't wowed by this book. I wanted to love it because I usually love retellings but not this one. Red is the female MC and she was likable but she was a forgetable MC. Eammon was the male MC and I never warmed up to him at all. I found the plot a little confusing and had to reread many of the chapters over again because the book lost me a lot. I'll m give the next book a try and I hope it does a much better job.

One of my friends recommended this book to me a couple of months ago and I am so glad I finally decided to pick it up. I automatically fell in love with the main characters as well as the side characters. Their banter and chemistry was awesome to read and really easy to picture in my head. It is a tad too cliche for me, meaning their wasn't any big twists but it was a fun book to read. I will definitely be continuing the series.

Review: This is the 5th book in the ‘Escape to New Zealand’ series and the first one I struggled to read. All the male heroes in the series are players in the All Blacks International Rugby team. This time there are two, Nate and Liam, but Nate is front and centre. Allison is a Canadian who has relocated to New Zealand with her friend Kristen for a new start. Kristen’s sister has married an All Black team Captain who has now retired. Allison meets Nate, who is the new team Captain, and is not impressed by him but they keep running into each other and eventually the barriers start to come down. Of course there is a huge drama that threatens their relationship and it looks like there is no way to overcome the differences. Will they get their HEA?
Well they do - but I found that I really didn’t particularly care if they did or not. I actually found Kristen and Liam’s relationship a lot more interesting and believable. Still I loved the first four and there are quite a few left in the series - so will have sports themed books to read for a while yet.

Review- Usually the 2nd book in a series gets this second book struggle syndrome but that was not the case with this book/series. From page 1 to the ending, this book had everything I could want in a romance book and more. I LOVED the characters. The female MC was amazing but the best part was the male MC he was fantastic. I couldn't wait to read his part. John Logan (aka Logan) was such a fun character to read. Not only did he screw up he did many things that made me love him! When a mean girl was spreading gossip about how Grace made up a story about making out with the hottest hockey player in the University he didn't go in and yell at Grace accusing her of saying they hooked up (view spoiler)Talk about swoon worthy moment. The whole book was just amazing in my opinion!!!

Review: Billionaire Josiah epitomises the Grinch. He hates Christmas - so imagine his horror when he arrives at the over the top Christmas decorated Bar V5 dude ranch to recuperate after a serious illness. Here he meets Ellie who lives and breathes Christmas. Ellie’s late brother was a close friend of Josiah’s but he had never really taken any notice of Nate’s young sister. Josiah is a workaholic so rest and recuperate comes hard to him, but Ellie is there to help him and slowly they give into the feelings enveloping them. But Ellie won’t leave Montana and Josiah won’t give up his business so looks like their relationship is doomed - unless Santa weaves his magic - but Santa is not real is he? Loved the story - their love, and the angst, was real.

Review- I really loved this book. I was pretty new to reading all sorts of different genres when it first came out. I didn't read it because of all the hype surrounding it. I'm so glad I finally picked it up, The book was worthy of all the hype. Monty one of the main characters was incredible. He was the trouble maker. He was in love with Percy who was his best friend all his life. Monty had the best sense of humor and made me laugh so often. He was one who never knew when to be quiet and always found himself in a lot of trouble. Percy was the soft spoken one. He was smart and knew when to keep his mouth shut. Together they made such a cute couple. There were a lot of laughs, a lot of adventure, and some stolen moments that were so sweet between Percy and Monty. Great book!
