I've updated the threads and put it back on the bookshelf. Iain will adjust the spreadsheet whenever he can.
We have finished the Bridge of D'Arnath series BR, in case that thread needs to be archived from the Book Clubs.The Kyra Halland series is still active even though we didn't get to post in it for a while. I'll get back to it this weekend and wrap it up.
I will drop a comment over here when we're done.

Okay, I'm sorry, I thought this was the last one, but I noticed that Iron Widow is showing up in the August list, and I swear Mei and put in a request for a date change when we heard the sequel was delayed, but we must have talked about it but never put the request in.Since the sequel book was delayed until next spring, we were hoping to move the BR for the book one of Iron Widow to 4/11/24. Thank you so much in advance!

We also need to put in BR requests for October Daye #17 & #18, at some point... not sure if I need to make double requests... the monthly BR will be reading them in May, probably on the 5th & 19th, since they're a double feature like Peace Talks & Battle Ground (in a different way... more same events from 2 POVs, from what I understand)...
But me & Emily, and maybe others, are gonna read them in September/October as well, when they release, I think (when the audio releases... not sure if there's gonna be any delays)... if it's just me & Emily, it could end up happening in Vagabond...

For Iron Widow #2 Heavenly Tyrant--I think we were waiting to set the dates for those from original thread requests because we don't quite trust the existing release date yet? I like what y'all did with the Defiant, just saying "Fall 2023"--could we get a same thing for Iron Widow #2 "Spring 2024"?

Basically, all Buddy Read threads get archived 14 days after they start, when they get removed from the front page currently reading shelves/folders...
The threads aren't locked or anything, and you can continue to discuss in them until you're done...
It's just part of the folder management/sorting, to keep track of everything...

There was some confusion over whether you wanted a BR thread for Drood, or were clumping it in with the Spooktober idea... clarification was requested in the Invite thread:

Probably gonna be a lot of requests in the next week or so, for October BRs... the idea seems to be to just request them for October 1st for the whole month of October... not sure what this will do to our usual orderly system (gonna flood the shelf/tracker)

Hey Mods! It's me! Your favorite rabble-rouser!Those of us in the Wars of Light and Shadow BR have been talking about extending time between BRs to let some of us newbies get through those chunky monkey books.
Right now, we're hoping to make the following changes:
Warhost of Vastmark #3 move to November 1st

Then we're going to reassess if we are ready to go forward at 1/month, 1/6 weeks, or what. So I don't know if there's a TBD or holding option for the other threads? Sorry to make more work for y'all! I bow down to you! There are at least three of us who are in it for the long haul, so we'll be going the distance, the only question is how fast...

I definitely remember the WOT rescheduling era lol
LOL that's fair. Though again, we didn't set the original schedule--we were just the ones who finished it out to the end. I think the requirement to have at least two people's name on the BR thing has hopefully fixed a bunch of rescheduling issues though... except for that one time when a new person joined the group, enticed us into a bunch of BRs, and then bailed on all of them... I also noticed that Will of the Many had been claimed but the thread not made yet. Did y'all have any questions about it?

I think Yanique is working her way down the list of requests... Goodreads implemented thread limits a few years ago... mods can only make 3 threads per hour, before they have to wait an hour or 2 to make more... so making all these Spooktober threads is taking time...

I moved the rest of the War of Light & Shadow 1 month forward, just so they wouldn't erroneously appear on the tracker before they're adjusted... unmoved, #5 would have been listed for December 1st, and #4 for December 15th...

Dune was missing (#1)
and Swordheart was missing (World of the White Rat) since it's set in the same world as Clocktaur War & Saint of Steel... 2 series and a standalone whose most defining shared feature is the Church of the White Rat :D
