Hey Nancy! I completed The Hardest Fall a few days ago and I LOVED ITTT!!! It had been on my TBR for quite some time now so am glad you gave me the final nudge to get around to it and finish it :) I will try to read a few more of your recs cuz I really do love them :D

Hi Romanticbookworm!Here are the books I was able to get to this month:
Sweatpants Season - read 3/3/22 *4 STARS*Oh I really liked this!
This was sort of an enemies-to-lovers type trope and it was seriously hot!
I really like the topic. I know that some people didn't particularly care for Akila (Kiki) but I thought she was fierce! I wasn't a fan of the "Date Night" podcast either!
I would have liked a bit more of an epilogue though. I felt like things ended abruptly. That is really the only complaint I have for the story.
Night Stalker - read 3/3/22 *4 STARS*This was really good. The politics are getting really muddled and I suspect the series is about to get real!
I really like Erin's character. She is really conflicted with the things that she's done in her past and I think she's going to have to really deal with that. I think that she is going to have to deal with sooner than she thinks though if the ending of this book is anything to go by!
Anyway, I enjoyed the story and look forward to the way things will progress in the next one!
Superfan - read 3/4/22 - *4 STARS* This was so cute! I really loved the way that Silas and Delilah connected. I liked the whole story with "Prepmonster" and was happy to see him get what was coming to him. I loved seeing the whole gang. Nate and Rebecca's wedding...epic of course! I'm really looking forward to getting back into this series again. I took some time away from it but I have missed this gang!
Brutal Prince - read 3/18/22 - *4 STARS* I actually wasn't expecting to like this but it just worked for me. I didn't really find either the hero or the heroine likable in the beginning. But they both grew on me and I think that they just fit together. Sure their antics to retaliate against one another were childish but they amused me. I'm just glad that they put that aside relatively quickly and found that they were pretty formidable when they put their talents together.
I will say that the book wasn't what I was expecting but I was pleasantly surprised. I'm glad I gave this a try after you recommended it to me. I will definitely read the next book at some point.
Bound by Honor - read 3/21/22 - *4 STARS*I didn't think I would enjoy this one when I first started it. I felt like the Mafia drama was over the top but what do I know about the Mafia? I felt like Aria was spoiled and Luca was a monster. But these two grew on me and they worked. It was rough for them and there was some cheating at the beginning (be warned) but they came together when the going got tough. I didn't feel as though their love story got enough time though so it left me disappointed. Therefore, *4 STARS*
Freefall - read 3/24/22 -*2.5 STARS*So, I wasn't a huge fan of this one. I felt like it was disjointed and I didn't know what kind of romance it was trying to be. I thought Ava was stupid and naive and thought Conor was selfish and manipulative. I actually liked the premise, the description of the sky diving was amazing! It just didn't work for me overall, so I don't think I would be moving on with the series.
Well, that may be it for me for the month. I don't like ending on a sour note and I do have a week left, so I may try to get one more book in to see if I have better luck with that. I guess you can't win them all but 5/6 great reads ain't bad! Thanks again for the picks!!
