Hiya, Team Caps! Thanks for volunteering to guide your team through a round of BookShelf Bingo! Your job, should you choose to accept it, will require a few things:
1 ~ Be our go-to person should we have any questions about your team
2 ~ Organize your teammate's weekly reads for each shelf/category so that the BSB Ninjas can quickly and easily verify and approve your stamp request(s)
2a ~ Create a master list in a post (preferably on the first page of your team's thread) and update it weekly or as often as necessary
2b ~ Post your team's stats on the Captain's Log prior to requesting a stamp
3 ~ Encourage and motivate your team (you may also ask to borrow Judithe's whip whenever necessary)
4 ~ Post regularly to ensure your team is communicating and on track each week
4a ~ Send them a PM and friendly poke if they haven't posted at least once a week, noted their book choice, and/or appear to have dropped out of webspace
5 ~ Send us a PM (Steph, Sandra or Judithe) should you need us for any reason throughout the game

I can do it. I just thought I'd see if anyone was really into it and if so let them do it. I tried contacting Fairyland~book but she has her messaging off. I hope she shows up.
I converted my first message to a place for our stats.Now we need to think of a name.
Thanks Linda. I hope fairyland shows up too. I am terrible at names too. I am from Colorado so the only name I can think of is fourteeners. 😀
Is fourteeners something specific to Colorado? Or a joke I'm missing?
Some basic info on procedure:-Your FREE SPACE book can be read after the game starts, as soon as the first shelf is announced.
-Let your teammates know which book you will be reading for each shelf. Remember must be >200 pages
-After a member has finished reading their book, they must post a read date, a 1-5 ✮ rating and a review* on their team thread.
*Note: Your review does not have to win any awards for its grammar or prose, however all reviews must be longer than "I really dis/liked it." Include what you did/n't like about it, if you'll read anything else in the series or by the same author, and anything else that made it a stand-out or crapped-out read for you. Please do not simply link to your GR review. You may, however, share a link to it along with your review on your team thread. Link-only and 1-line reviews will not be accepted.

Review:
I enjoy these books. When I started reading these eons ago , I was disappointed. To me being a sci-fi nut these are not very sci-fi. I have come to not except “sci-fi” but now enjoy them for all the awesome characters and story. Eve was a bit off the rails in this book, thank goodness for Peabody.

This book is absolutely refreshing compared to other scifi romance that I have read! From the beginning of this book I was hooked! I finished this book in less than 5 hours. The world building and characters characters are So good!! I was hooked start to end and cannot wait to start the next book in this series!

Review:
Dax goes to rescue Rina from jail and ends up also taking her cell mate, Califa, to avoid her exposing the escape. Califa wears a gold collar that identifies her as a highly prized slave. The collar has a controller that instills pain, mind control or death. As they spend time together, while he determines what to do with a slave when he is opposed to the concept but knows she may be a threat, he is drawn to her. But the reason she is a slave and her secrets are worse than he's imagined. During a battle they come out and the focus changes. This a complex adventure novel built around a heroine who was an evil person in the first volume of the series, who a year later has changed her thoughts but is judged by her past. It is an interesting plot but one that, needing a HEA ending, required a fairly quick bit of forgiveness. But a great climax scene at the end. Very enjoyable if a bit unbelievable.

Linda C I recommend! it's very different. I have found most sci-fi Romance is surface leave and just full of steamy scenes. This wasn't Luke that at all! I'm on to the next book and it's Story line is very different from the first.
