I was also thinking, unless we roll 12 two times, we have at least 3 more weeks of books.
Ooooh, 7 or 8. Decisions, decisions. This is my first time playing it. Is there a risk to waiting to use them? Or is it better to wait until the end?
I'm going to see what I have that are shorter reads to be ready for the last round.

How it fits: it is the 7th book in the series
Review: This book was a little better than the last two in the series. I think it was because this book seemed to be more of Jane than Caleb. They gained another orphan, another dog, and more helpers. I love that the couple are still in their honeymoon stage. I wonder if the next book in the series has the newlyweds facing some personal trouble.

Constant action and badass goodness. I just loved Holden and his unwavering devotion to Beckett. This is the final book in this series so we got to see a lot of the crew with the current case working out. Can't wait to see what comes next from Reese.

Review: You know how you want to fall in love with a book, but you just really end up being good friends? That was this book for me. I liked Bertie. I did. She was spunky and was trying to make a better life for herself. And she had some bad circumstances to overcome. I think the miss for me was Sinclair. He was grumpy, with a hard outside and a marshmallow inside. That's usually ok. But something just wasn't true love forever with him.
I still enjoyed the story, and I'll keep on with the series. It just wasn't my favorite. 3.5 stars. Sorry, book. It's me, not you.

Finally! We Finally got Simon & Chelsea book.
So... was it worth the wait?
Truthfully, I think the book would have been better without all the buildup. If you're going to lead the characters on that much hype...
If I hadn't been dying for their story, it would probably have been a 5* or at least a 4.5*. I think even if you would have given more of her back story of all the trauma she went from her dad It would have rated higher.
I more than just liked it. I just expected more. You did that to me Susan Stoker, so I'm removing a star.
The Next Book is Jesse's book. Don't fuck this one up!

I have 3 8’s to choose from and a 5! Good problem to have.
I only have 2 & 1 extra but it's a reread that I wanna wait on til the next book comes out & the author I taking her damn sweet time. But the other two I wanna read both of them.

How it fits: it is the 5th book in the series
Review: This story was about the same par as the rest in the series. Sir Reggie is still annoying and childish and rude. Lady Fortescue and Colonel are still haughty and superior. Miss Tonks is getting a backbone finally and I see romance in her future. The story ended with a cliffhanger. Those are so irritating!
This earns the "starting and finishing a series" bonus point.

Not bad but lots of sex which is usually okay but this was boring sex and mushiness. I guarantee I won't remember this in a week. Maybe even tomorrow.

Flavia cracks me up. Home from Canada, she walks right into a dead body. Would we expect anything else from our favorite girl sleuth? Father is in hospital with pneumonia, Dogger and Mrs Mullet are still taking care of everyone but the amazing Esmerelda (sniff!) and she continues to both frustrate and impress Inspector Hewitt. I simply love Flavia. 3.5 stars.

Don't give me wrong, this was a good book as far as books go. For this series tho, it didn’t meet my high expectations.
I was really excited about Galen, I also wanted Sally story. But it was nothing special out of the box. It seems like with this series, you will have a really great book & then one that's just okay.
TBH, I read this at the first part of the week And don't remember too much about it. That's how Meh it was. I was actually hoping to finish the other #8 book I'm working on for a different challenge, because it would be a much better review.
Will I be continuing with this series?
Next book is Jake & Rainy. It doesn't look too special from the blurb. but sometimes those are the best ones.
