I have changed my Library book to The Hen Who Dreamed She Could Fly: A Novel as Kafka on the Shore has proven to be a book that may take me awhile to read, but one I will finish...eventually.

Really looking forward to it now Lynxie! :D
I am now finished 8 books of my list. I had to change number 1 from The Handsome Man's Deluxe Café - a steamy climate - Botswana (because I don't think I'll get my hands on it in time) to a book starting with "B" - Big Brother which I've just finished - and I think I enjoyed it, although I'm still a bit shell-shocked by the ending! So my finished books since my last update are:
1. Make a cup of tea!
a) Boil the water - Read a book which is "steamy", set in a hot climate or makes you feel warm inside. Or books where the author's name or book title begins with B, O, I or L .
Big Brother by Lionel Shriver - 4★
b) Choose your tea - Read books with a colour on the cover to match the type of tea you choose:
Black tea – Matthew Flinders' Cat by Bryce Courtenay - 5★
d) Sweet? - Read a book to indicate how sweet you like your tea:
Artificial sweetener – An Irish Country Girl by Patrick Taylor - 4th in the Irish Country series - 3.5★
Starting my last book for this challenge... Number 5 International Family Only We Know by Victoria Purman
I have abandoned my new release aussie author book of The Painted Sky by Alice Campion. I know others have loved this but obviously rural romance is just not my thing atm. I've instead started my standalone book of The Narrow Road to the Deep North by Richard Flanagan and am loving it so far.
Valerie wrote: "I have abandoned my new release aussie author book of The Painted Sky by Alice Campion. I know others have loved this but obviously rural romance is just not my t..."Wow that is a big change going from light and fluffy to utterly ... Well ... Not :)

Also read #5 a book about families God Is an Astronaut by Alyson Foster 4★

And that concludes the Autumn Challenge for me! All great books - no duds!1a). Set in a hot climate - A Beautiful Place to Die by Malla Nunn 5★
1b). Black tea - The Girl on the Train by Paula Hawkins 4★
1c) weak - The Icarus Plot by Jenny Schwartz 4★
1d) no sugar - Life or Death by Michael Robotham 5★
1e) no milk - general fiction The Headmaster's Wife by Thomas Christopher Greene 4.5★
2.Clean Up Australia Day - Fatal Liaison by Vicki Tyley 4★
3. International Day of Happiness- a book to make you happy Carpe Jugulum by Terry Pratchett 4★
4. International Mother Earth Day - library book Catch Me by Lisa Gardner 4.5★
5. International Family Day - God Is an Astronaut by Alyson Foster 4★
6. New release by an Aussie author - Wild Wood: A Novel by Posie Graeme-Evans 5★
