I just finished the Medieval Hearts series by Laura Kinsale. It only consisted of two books but it they were quite meaty! Both were 5 star reads for me and now I want to read everything else she's written. 🤣

I also added The Survivors series by Shana Galen to my list. I've read/listened to the first four and halfway through the fifth. I discovered that the audiobooks all seem to be on Hoopla and they are pretty easy listening. :)

Jenny, I have a few books (three books, I think) before I finish The Survivors series by Shana Galen. The series is too long and I kind of lost interest and motivation, yet I'm not ready to give up on it completely.

Yes! The amount of books in the series is pretty daunting (and now I'm eyeing Maiden Lane which is just as long! Ack). That's why it took me so long to add it to my list and officially commit. lol

I'm still new to audiobooks so I'm glad to have a free series to listen to while I figure out whether they're my thing.

Finished my 4th series, The Dilhorne Dynasty by Paula Marshall, with the 6th book, Prince of Secrets, on 1st Nov 2022. I enjoyed the series. A bit different from the usual HRs. The series was set over 3 generations of parents, children and grandchildren in Australia, England and USA.


I have now met my 2022 challenge goal of Voracious - 3-4 series. Yay! Not sure whether I'll get any more series finished before the end of the year, but you never know!

Well, after all is said and done I read 49 books over 11 series. Phew!

I left a few series hanging over the year so December was a bit of a scramble to tie up loose ends when I would have rather been reading Christmas/wintery books. Will try not to make that mistake next year! 😊

Thanks moderators. Finished 13 series with 51 books , out of which 2 series were novellas with 12 books. Thoroughly enjoyed the challenge. was planning to complete the Malory Anderson series of Lindsey but couldn't. Hope to take it up in 2023 challenge.

I finished the Dilhorne Dynasty by Paula Marshall, Ladies Most Unlikely by Jayne Fresina, Carsington Brothers by Loretta Chase, and Fairbourne Quartet by Madeline Hunter. I liked all 4 series, although a few individual books weren’t quite as good. But that happens in every series. it does’t matter. If you are hooked into a series, you get interested in that world and you want to find out what’s going to happen to the characters.

I didn’t finish two of my series - Mischief in Mayfair by Grace Burrowes or The Palace of Rogues by Julie Anne Long. Both of those series had new books added in 2022, which I haven’t yet read. Might add them to the 2023 challenge.
