message 307: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (mooselover) | 2724 comments I think MK wants the award to be MPG , under Literary awards.
Mm group doesnt count.
If you have access to the SH spreadsheet, that might help as literary award was an item.

Beta forces me to keep opening extra details on the book page to see all the information that is usually shown in one glance on the old page. On your book, it does show the award on the first opening of the page, but with beta to see all the precis or the MPGs you have to click 'more' and 'more' etc.

Yes - but I have to do it for every book I look at 🙄

I need to find a list but only found one with 18 books on it for the LAMBDA awards...

If I had to pick between being a rock star or work at a home improvement store... let's just say, I don't have a musical bone in my body, but I own every power tool know to man! *grin*

This was a wonderful, easy read that touched my heart. I loved the beginning, the middle, and the end! There were a couple of "tissue" moments and several "giggle" moments and a lot of "aww" moments!

I debated speaking about Irving but am choosing to just say, "be prepared... asshole alert!"

Having been a fan of Ms. Lain for years, I don't see that changing anytime in the future!

Truthfully? I didn't want this one to end... grr

I knew we would be waiting for the next book, and waiting isn't something I do well! *grin*

This was a short, entertaining read that had me grinning for a large majority of the time!

Zephyr was adorable in either form and Gawain wasn't about to let his little dragon go... ever!

I do hope that we don't have to wait YEARS to continue this story, but I guess we will just have to wait and see. *sigh*

I don't know who voted for these awards but this book should not have been on any best of list. I'll admit the cats were funny and the story of the abused Samir and the bouncer Elliot finding lurrrve was okay but not great. Lots of crap involving Samir's ex and his funny pets but that's about it. Meh.

Really liked this mystery. It kept me guessing right up until the big reveal. I kinda like these older books. Good writing and something that I can get used to, little to no sex. The mystery does it all.

Review:
Daddy-His name is Reed... use it occasionally!
Baby Boy-His name is Ripley... use it occasionally... grr

Other than referring to each other as Daddy and Baby Boy for almost the whole damn book, there just wasn't much Daddy kink. A few rules that were never broken, until FINALLY, Ripley broke one, and OHHH we got 10 taps on the butt... yeah, that's it... grrr

I'll be honest, my favorite characters were anyone that wasn't Reed or Ripley... the goats even placed ahead of them! Frankie was my favorite, and come to find out, I have already read his story... ugh!

Truthfully, I don't know whether to give the next book a try or just let this series go. What if all the other MCs are Ripley and Reed, just with different names? I will have to think about this before deciding to move on or not... *headdesk*

Sidenote: Larry is an asshole, just like Ripley's dad was... just thought you should know!
