Review:
This didn't grab me as much as I had hoped. I found the story just very expected and without any new ideas; a little ho-hum. Music star needs a break (and goes about it very clumsily) vs a rodeo star taking a break to reassess life...
Narrated by Jeff Gelder - a solid performance

I really enjoyed this book. Loved Tristan and Reese together. Tristan ends up in Nebraska following plane problems and stays in a small town where nobody knows him. He meets Reese, the local hairdresser and a relationship ensues, until he is discovered and then flees back to LA.
However, love does win out in the end.

Dave takes his son to see Santa where he asks Santa fir a new boyfriend for his father. Luckily Santa is Jeff, a single gay guy who meets Dave afterwards whilst waiting for lunch. A friendship ensues and Dave and Jeff begin dating. A sweet book with little angst and for once a kid who wasn't annoying.

Book 3:

167 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/16 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
It would appear that this is my first book by this author and, well, they certainly like to talk about the weather and animals! *grin*
Bryan starts the story with a shock... then he meets up again with Parson, a friend from high school, and gets his next shock... then his third shock comes... NO, there are way too many moments of shock in Bryan's life to list them all... just read the book! Aesop will make it worth your while! LOL!!!

Book 4:

174 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
Considering that I was a conservative Democrat until about five years ago, I really enjoyed the political aspects of this story. My heart would have broken for Gideon except he didn't want my pity or Evan's pity. He chose to be the man that he was and had worked hard to be in the place that he was. And he was ready to go after the man he has wanted practically his whole life!
Evan was so NOT oatmeal, once you really got to know him! *grin*

Book 5:

Bears in the Woods by K.C. Wells
160 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Three people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
I'll be honest, I don't read many poly books with established couples because I have "cheating" issues... as in NEVER cheat! But, if a story is well written, and it feels like the "throuple" is meant to be... that the 3rd completes the family, then I am all for that! *grin*
Don't get me wrong, I am a "live and let live" kind of gal, but I just don't enjoy reading about when someone cheats. That is on me and I try to be VERY careful to stay away from it.
Anyways, about the story... 3 bears, or more like 2 bears and a cub would describe this best! Julian and Michael have had what I would call an adventurous relationship and have learned to be more careful about who they want. And they wanted Jim! I liked the dynamics that we got when the three of them were together. What I didn't like so much was the ending... but, hey... you can't have everything!

Book 6:

A Special Kind of Perfect by H.M. Wolfe
177 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
I did not know that this was a spin-off from a different series... I do now, though!
This was an extremely intense book for me to be reading so late at night... early in the morning? Yeah, Peyton and Ezra (love those names and the cover, BTW) just broke my heart, but slowly, as the story progresses (grab the tissues!) we find hope. I don't want to say too much, but I will definitely be going back and reading the Dragon's House series! *grin*

Book 7:

Pieces of You by N.R. Walker
185 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Review:
OK, I did a read-a-thon of this series today and so I am only going to post a review here with the first book because I fear I will accidentally let something slip and I would hate to do that!
Let me start by saying "grab those tissues" and that this author has proven time after time to be the kind of author that I can count on to give me what I need when I am reading! And this series was NO exception.
Justin and Dallas went straight to the top of my "Favorite MCs" list for this year and IF I did re-reads? I would read this series over and over and over... *sigh*

Book 8:

Pieces of Me by N.R. Walker
196 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Tissues! I needed MORE tissues... :'(

Book 9:

Pieces of Us by N.R. Walker
189 pgs/GR
Qualifies: Two people on the cover.
Finished: 11/17 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I wasn't ready for it to end... but what an ending! *grabs another tissue!*

So great, so heartbreaking. We meet Dallas and Justin and get a brief glimpse into their life only to have a terrible accident steal everything from Justin and in turn Dallas. So much crying in this one, for me and Dallas. Lovely way to end this part of the series. On to the next one right away!

This is the second book in the story and continues right where book one left off. Just the guys learning their new normal and figuring out how to make it all work with a whole lot of love.

The conclusion of their story was just as sweet and the first two. A huge, scary setback occurred but they made it through. Loved this series and these two men were just everything.

Menages are tricky for me but this one was really good. An established couple find themselves attracted to a man they're renting a cabin to and after some bonding they get freaky. And the freaky is hot! No angst, just a sexy, love story.

Saving Jason by KC Wells

Nice holiday May-December romance with both points for a virgin MC. The age difference didn't seem to be much of an issue. A bit on the insta-love story but a nice read for a fluffy holiday feel-good couple of hours.

Really nice Cinderfella story about a rich guy who lost his husband and a younger waiter with not a whole lot to his name. Loved their dates and their getting to know you phase. Darwin got to do things he'd never done and Ricky was just what he needed. A bit of conflict over the money issue but great supporting characters. Cute little story.

Boy did Chris luck out that the Santa he told his wish to was not only a hot guy but a gay hot guy. What are the odds? Ha, that said this was a sweet Christmas story. Not a lot of heat but a whole lot of "awwww". Believable? Not so much but it's all about Christmas miracles, yes?

Earning His Trust by Shea Balik

My rating is due to the fact that I've recently read great books and starting a Siren series in the middle is bound to make it almost intolerable. My bad. Yes, Iniko had issues from his past treatment but being honest is not the same thing as being plain ole mean. I never warmed up to him. Shifter-Mate siren romance thing with people I didn't have a clue about. Not a good combo.

Review:
I'm a massive sucker for a good saviour story, and this fits the bill 100%! Love that! Its short and sweet - with an evil background for MC Silas into which MC Gael steps in and up.
Narrated by Derrick McClain - excellent :)

The Solstice Prince
Pages: 184
Qualifies: 2 people on the cover

Read: 17 Nov
Rating: 4 stars
Review:
A fantasy rescue-style story to back up the last one ;) Although this one didn't have a direct rescue. This was more a coming of age (and out of chains) for MC Jamie Buchanan. MC Prince Maxim was exactly the right blend of patience, persistence and gentleness for Jamie.
Narrated by Joel Leslie - so good with those varied accents :)

Love this series - it just feels very homey and intimate. A really good view into the lives of MCs Jack and Riley, and their extended family (real and chosen)... Friction, love, celebration, emergencies, opportunities and most importantly new life.
Narrated by Sean Crisden - he reads this series really well :)

The Bond-Cut Omega by Amy Bellows

Cute alpha omega story. Gabe is an omega who was a sex worker as a teenager so had his scent gland cut and can no longer bond. Marcus is his bff and the guy he's been in love with forever. Marcus gets too close during a heat and ....pregnancy. Fun little story until we get to the part where they name their daughter Gull. Gull! What the hell?

Oh, my... that Last Radio Call at the gravesite destroyed me...
I wasn't expecting this much emotion and Real Life from this book, but I sure got it!

We didn't expect to be in the final two for sure, but I hope we made you work a little bit!!!

It is going to be weird reading a book with 200 or 300 pages! *snort* LOL!!!

I was surprised that I managed to find a couple of 5-star reads besides the 3 Walker books!

I’m surviving on about 5 hours sleep over the last 48 hours which was a fun idea then but not so much as I’m getting ready for work this morning.😂
I’m looking forward to some good and longer books after reading some rubbish yesterday.

Kat needs to do her check but thanks teamies (and team 3) for another fun round!! So great playing with all of you!

I have like 5 books waiting, I think they are all Christmas books, so I don't have that problem yet... but, the New Year? Yeah, where will I start? *headdesk* ;p

I got that this morning! hehehe"
You are late...lol. It released yesterday

*BIG sigh*

This was just okay for me. Sweet romance but nothing memorable. I think the best part of the story may be Luka and kids aren't usually my fav part. That's saying something, I guess. Cute book, no angst and kind of rushed.
