I haven't read a Tal Bauer book in a while and either I forgot or this is new but these guys were kind of tortured. They're both lonely but Noah is a fricking mess. He's never been with a man before and meets Cole in Vegas and decides to finally give a try. He gets called away for a case a lo and behold the profiler ends up being Cole. Man, he was an ass at first but an emotional one. The case, their romance, Noah's relationship with his daughter....perfection. Loved this so much!!

Short rant: Cover issues! That child is around 4 or 5 years old, which is fine... except, Chris is 10, going on 20! *grin*
As for the story? It was a joy to read with a full cast of meddling family members... OK, sisters to make sure that Jeff and Dave got the HEA that they both deserved and that Chris had asked Santa for because everyone should have a meddling sister! Says the meddling sister! LOL!!!
There were a few times when you kinda had to suspend reality a bit because I found a couple of things that just were not realistic (view spoiler) ... but, hey... it's a Christmas story, so who knows!
Sidenote: I really should have made myself some hot chocolate with marshmallows while reading this one!

It is rare to find a book that is made up of so many wonderful characters, well... except Steven, the twat! And, Jack's parents... but, everyone else is just perfect in their own personal imperfect way. I have never been to Amsterdam, but after reading this story, I can see myself getting caught up in the ambiance of such an amazing city. Jack and Arlo shot straight up to my Top Ten Favorite Main Characters that I have read this year... they were both just so darn adorable! If this story doesn't give you the warm and fuzzy feels... I just don't know what it would take to get you there!
I did great with the whole tissue issue until the very last paragraph... then all bets were off. Even though I knew it was coming, it still caught me off guard, and then the tears just flowed.
Sidenote: I almost fell off of my chair when we finally found out Bee's full name... I had been mildly curious throughout the book, but I SO was not expecting that one! *grin*

Oh. My. Word! I am always saying that you have to watch out for the quiet ones... and guess who made me laugh so hard I almost peed my pants? Pete... yeah, Pete! Who is Pete, you may ask? That is my point exactly! *grin*
I think the thing I loved most about this book, besides the Marian Family, was Sam's ability to never give up on Griff... When the going got tough, Griff got running... then Sam just followed him and brought him back home... yeah, you gotta love Sam!
I hope to move on to Moving Maverick and get another amazing dose of the Marian clan in the VERY near future!

Now here's a book I really enjoyed. Grey is the cold, bitter billionaire and Ellison is the sweet guy who will pay the price for a prank from his early 20s. I loved everything about this book. The funny snark, the chemistry between the MCs, the storyline and the side characters. Can't wait for the next one.

I don't know if I was just tired last night when I started this book, or if it is actually that damn hilarious... but, I started laughing in the first chapter and was still giggling during the epilogue!

Even though the humor was fantastic, that isn't the whole story. There were a lot of "home" truths in this one, that only someone from a small town will really understand! You live it... you love it... or you leave it... that is small-town living. Mal and Brooke had to leave their small towns to realize that sometimes what you thought you were leaving was actually what you were looking for but couldn't see it for the need to leave. For some of us, like Mal... we finally get that the going can be fun, but coming home is what makes life better!
This book was overflowing with unique side characters that made Licking Thicket (don't even get me started on this amazing name) feel like the place to be... I would want to move there if I didn't already live in my own little town here in central West Virginia!
Although, I may never look at a barn wall the same way ever again! *snort* LOL!!!
To say that I am looking forward to continuing this series would be an understatement, I just hope that I am not expecting too much from the next book... Liars! *fingers crossed*

Loved the storyline - the plot and the crazy characters. MC Parrish is a baby-wrangling sweetheart with an incessant talking compulsion; MC Diesel loves his chickens, and most importantly his niece for whom he is fighting for custody.
Probably not quite as many laughs as in the first book, but still a very amusing tale incorporating the more serious subject of orphan custody.
Narrated by Michael Dean - 5 stars.

How rare this was! I could have read this story to my grandkids... well, except for the smexy times! *grin*
I will be honest, I am not a cat lover, but who wouldn't love Dub/Wentworth? And, for full transparency, I have never read or seen Puss in Boots... but, I am sure that like most fairy tales, there are bad guys and good guys! Which this story had a wide selection of both!
This was just a cute, pass-the-time read that would be enjoyed by almost anyone!

The best way to describe this one is cute. It was cute. It didn't make me feel any kind of way but it was entertaining and easy to read. No big fights or misunderstandings, just boy meets boy, they fall in love, have lots of sex, get separated, end up together. That's about it.

An unusual book. It was based on the story of Puss in Boots, which I have no knowledge of so it was an adventure. I love stories which have snarky cats who are cats and not shifters and although Dub wasn't snarky I did love him and was a bit upset when he became Alastair in the end.

I really don't know where to start... there were many things right with this story and not really anything wrong with this story... but, there were things missing from this story!
Like, for instance, conversations! Edward and Peyton talked and talked and talked... but they never seemed to discuss the important issues. It was like everything was just "assumed" which never turns out well in real life... grrr
I did like the story, but as I said, it just felt like it was constantly missing something! *headdesk* :(

I've got to give this one all the stars. It was so freaking sweet and had the correct amount of snark and verbal sparring and humor. Just loved Malachi and his mouth, the things he would spew...just hilarious. At the heart of the story were the letters and finding the author to return them. The entire cast of characters was fabulous. Just a fun, amazing read.
