The Mysterious Affair at Styles The Mysterious Affair at Styles (Hercule Poirot, #1) by Agatha Christie by Agatha Christie

When an elderly woman - who has a lifetime interest in the estate she lives on - dies, there are plenty of suspects for the murder including her stepson and her much younger husband. Poirot investigates.

Not a great mystery, but a good introduction to Poirot and his assistant Captain Hastings. 3 stars
