In "Tiger Trap" (the book's title comes from an FBI code name for a case it was investigating during the early 1990s that was centered on Gwo-bao Min, an engineer at the Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory in California, one of the top laboratories responsible for designing nuclear weapons, who was suspected of betraying critical nuclear secrets to China), the author explains to the reader Beijing's approach to conducting espionage in the U.S. and its methods of encouraging and grooming people to spy for China.

Mystery at the Abbey Hotel is a cut above the average, in the category of Dorothy Sayers and Agatha Christie. Historical, beautifully written. Just darn good!

Fun and informative biography of the great biologist and naturalist E.O. Wilson. Wilson was a precocious young scientist as a little boy studying ants and is still going strong in his nineties.
