Might have cracked and preordered the digital deluxe version of Baldurs Gate 3, for the 96 hour early access. So that looks like my plans sorted for the weekend ;)

I watched ACG's review of Starfield and it looks good. It doesn't look like it's in dire needs of patches so I'd be confident in playing it day one. Apparently it also runs OK on the Series S which has become a bit of a hot topic of late. Is its lack of power dragging this gen of consoles down?Baldurs Gate 3 is an accident PS5 console exclusive because they can't get it to run on the Series S. Not yet anyway but I'm sure they will at some point.
Deck, if you want tips on Elden Ring, try a YouTube channel called Platinum Chasers.He's done a complete guide on it, including character builds I believe. A couple of things in the game have been nerfed since his guide came out though.
Cheers. I'll probably regret saying this but I reckon as long as I'm thorough with this run and upload my save at a certain point, I should only have a couple of trophies left to get in Elden Ring. I'll need to look up a bit for NG+ to mop up some of the legendary items needed for a trophy, but it's looking very platable at the minute, which isn't something I'd ever hear myself saying with a From game. Then again, I'm about to cross the 600 hour mark, if I don't know what I'm doing by now, I probably never will

EA reveal their new Code Codemasters made WRC game next week.
Hopefully the release date isn't miles off for WRC, I'd take a bit of rallying right now.
Even if it has a "drive the distance between the earth and sun" trophy I'll take it ;)
Yep, I was a bit daft (shocking!) by picking up the early access version of Baldies Goat (or maybe Baldur's Gate 3). I've convinced myself the Elden Ring plat is close and very much on, so starting something new was never going to happen. No NG+ needed, as long as I don't mess up the point to cloud save for the third ending, I've done all the heavy lifting and the remaining trophies should pop on the way. It'll be a plat I'll be pretty happy with. I reckon i should be able to cut the plat time for the PS4 version from 600+ to a mere 150 ;)
Ping! Elden Ring (PS5). They were a bit lenient with the trophies. I'd first thought the legendary weapons etc would involve items you exchange boss souls for so would need a 2nd playthings as there aren't enough mausoleum. Either that or I'd thought there'd be millions of them. But no, it was surprisingly reasonable and all found just by being thorough in exploration. Only one or two i had to look up. Quite liked the Lord of frenzied flame ending.And of course, now I've installed the PS4 version. Have to say it's surprising as well. Maybe marginally less crisp but runs as smoothly (if not more) early on.
Only played about an hour of Baldurs Gate 3. Has a lot in common with the Divinity games. Not bad but not really anything special early on, we'll see if it grows

Im 22 hrs through and i earned zero trophies so far. lol.
Finished Stray.
What a nice little game.
The visuals are really great. Way better then what i was expecting.
it has that cyberpunk feel that is very well crafted.
The story was very interesting and well told despite having very little dialogue.
It mixes stealth with exploration in a non complicated way that allows the game to be constantly moving forward.
The ending was a bit lackluster. I mean, it built the emotion very well right to the very last minute but didnt have that bombastic finish.
Overall i give it a 7,5 out of 10 Andromedas.
You'll likely have at least 60% of the trophies by the time you are finished the story Glass, especially if you are focused on exploring. It's more straightforward than you'd expect, the main difficulty is keeping track of the NPCs for the different endings.Quite liked Stray as well and thought the same as you, that the end could have done with a bit more work
Congrats on the Elden Ring plat Deck. That's a great one to have in your virtual trophy cabinet. If I ever properly try a Fromsoftware game, it'd probably be Elden Ring.This weekend I thought I'd have a proper go at that gauntlet speed trophy in Titanfall but may have to admit defeat, at least for now. Speed trophies really are my weak point and this one is insane.
The speed trophy put me off playing Stray too when it was on PS+ Extra. If it ever comes to the Essentials library I might give it a go but I hate it when devs shoehorn them in, especially when they're at odds with how the game should be played.
Cheers, pretty happy with the Elden Ring plat, though trophy wise, i think they've been a bit more generous than some of their previous games. I've definitely other plats that have been a lot more of a pain.Not a fan of speed run trophies either but from what I remember, the Stray speed run trophy didn't look too bad, there's worse out there anyway. Then again, there's probably something that would hold things up. It's not a long game, and even taking my time, I don't think I was that far off. I keep meaning to go back to attempt it,
What is the plat you're most proud of Deck in terms of difficulty?
Good question. Had a quick look at some of my plats and there aren't many I'd say were too difficult. A lot time consuming but not many hard ones. Hades maybe, the 2 Nioh games, Wo Long, GT7 and one of the WRC games, Othercide. Might sound weird coming from someone who has just spent countless hours in Elden Ring and Souls games in general, but I don't really do difficult,

I think I'll take a short break from Elden Ring before getting stuck into the PS4 version. it's likely one I'll want to replay at some point, so may as well leave the trophies until then.That said, not sure what I'm in the mood for. Going to get stuck into Baldurs Gate but not convinced it'll stick at the minute. Not really any other ideas apart from that, so may well end up in Elden Ring again

Restarted Cyberpunk 2077 last night but chose a diferent life path this time.
The first time i went with corpo but honestly it never clicked with me so now i went with Nomad and it went a lot better.
Im halfway through the prologue i think but it was exciting this time.
I just wish they added an option to increase the font size in the menus cause my tv is a bit far away from my bed and the font is so small that reading all the character info and details becomes very tiresome.

Not one I'd been planning on attempting to plat because it really does rely on pure luck, but once the most difficult trophy popped, I thought I may as well polish off the last few. Don't think I'll be jumping straight into the PS4 version, but might be one I come back to at some point, because I did enjoy it well enough
Congrats Deck. I'm not sure I've heard of that game or what it's about.EA released their WRC trailer yesterday. The game will be out in November. I'll need to check the trophy list before deciding on whether to get it. Hopefully more along the lines of the mainstream Dirt games rather than Dirt Rally.
I still need to play WRC Generations first though. WRC 9 & 10 were good so I'm guessing it's of a similar standard.
Inscryption is pretty much a card game with a weird slight horror story. Pretty addictive but heavily reliant on luck.WRC Generations is pretty much the same as 10. The feeling I got from it was that they rushed one out before they lost the licence. Still, definitely no worse than the ones before.
I've seen Generations on sale a few times but it needs to drop nearer around the £10 mark before I bite.
Wasn't really in the mood to start anything new yesterday, so just made a start on the PS4 version of Inscryption
I've a bad feeling I'll be picking up The Crew Motorfest next week. Really don't want to be forking over £70 for it, but I'm not really feeling Baldurs Gate at the minute. Of its gameplay type, the 2 Pillars of Eternity games and the 2 Pathfinder games are well above it at the minute for me. And of their own games, I'd rate the 2 Divinity games higher. It is early days though, and the type of game it can be hard to really get into, so it'll likely grow on me when I'm in the right mood, may even do a 180. But as it is, there's a gaming hole to be filled erm
In fact, maybe I'll save myself some money and go back to Divinity. Too many doubts about Motorfest at the minute.
Motorfest looks like the kind of game it'd be best to wait on. Let it comes and settle down after a couple of inevitable early patches.Instead you should go back to Grid and grind out a few hundred miles or go and play Andromeda until you enjoy it ;)
I haven't played anything this week as I've been too tired and hot. The PS5 can chuck out some heat so didn't want to make my room even warmer in case I melted.Hopefully this heatwave ends soon so I can go back to chipping away at a nice #225 plats milestone I was working on. I'm 222 atm but have got an easy one lined up for 223 so need another for 224.
Believe it or not, I did have Andromeda reinstalled the other day... but deleted before even attempting to boot it up again. The PlayStation says I've, slightly unbelievably, spent 98 hours in it. If I didn't like it after spending that long, it's not likely to change now.Then again, maybe it was 5 minutes of gameplay, and the remaining 97 hours 55 complaining ;)I've a feeling I'll be jumping between games for a while annoyingly. Went back to Two Point Hospital, Deaths Door, TMNT Shredders Revenge, Vanquish, and a few others in the hope one will stick. Thinking about replaying the FF7 Remake at the minute, in a few hours no doubt it'll be something else
I had a look at the Andromeda trophy list the other day. I somehow got nearly 80% of the trophies first time round so thought about going back to try and get the plat.I've got the plats for ME trilogy on PS3 and 4 so it annoyed me this was the only ME game I didn't have the plat for.
Then I remembered its not a proper ME and the remaining trophies look a bit of a pain.
Looking again, Andromeda looks possibly doable, maybe. Surely not...
I think I've only a couple of trophies left in Andromeda, but since I didn't transfer the save data, I'd have to go through it all again to get them. No thanks ;)
I'm assuming my save data is still in the cloud. Hopefully not and then I can forget the idea.
I'd thought I'd only a couple of Andromeda trophies left, but after having a look, I've only got 35 of the 56. The ones left don't look too bad though, maybe it is worth a replay.....I mean more trophies and an excuse to point out everything that was wrong with it, sounds....well no, it still sounds tedious ;)
Ah crap, my save from 2017 was in the cloud storage. I'm beginning to think I'm a masochist....
Had one of those weekends where, although I got a lot of gaming hours in, didn't really feel like I got anywhere. Did manage to knock out the Hyper 5 plat, side scrolling shooter that I'd already pinged the PS5 version

So The Crew Motorfeat...yep, it's Forza Horizon in all but name, but with a bit less of the dress up dolls. Played it for a good few hours yesterday and thought the rewards were going to be solely car focused, but no, the next time I level up it looks like I'll be "rewarded" with a t-shirt....Still it doesn't seem to be as bad as the last FH in that respect, they arent throwing pointless wrist watches and summery dresses right left and centre. Driving wise, it's a bit less arcadey than say Need for Speed, so so far I've no big complaints. It looks like it'll scratch an itch nicely
I do like the look of Motorfest and it's closeness to Forza Horizon. I've not played the first two games (and never will now) but do plan on getting this at some point.Last night I started a game I found recently available on + Extra, DC League of Superpets. A tie in to a kids film based on pet versions of DC characters. It's really basic but fairly enjoyable in short bursts. Should be an easy plat apart from one awkward looking trophy.
Finished the playlist races in Motorfest. Going to have to have a proper look at the trophies, as I've not even half of them yet. Think one of them looked like a grind and there were a few crew related ones, but didn't really see anything too bad when I'd glanced.But with all the races done, I might have to find something to play alongside, so it doesn't become monotonous. Still overall it's at least as good as Forza Horizon for me, very little to complain about
Motorfest is sounding very good and the chance to almost play Forza Horizon on PS.Ping! DC League of Superpets.
Not exactly one to boast about but was OK for the 2-3 hours it took.
Sony State of Play tonight. Will give it a watch if I remember about it.
Don't know whether a Motorfest trophy is bugged or mislabelled. There's one to hit lvl 15, did that last night and...nothing. The trophy list is saying 0.0% have achieved it, which is usually a bad sign. Think I was probably about done anyway, pretty much only the mp related ones left that I don't think I'll bother with. I'll keep it installed and have a go now and then
Can the MP stuff be done with two players? I'll definitely get it at some point.
There's one trophy that needs a crew of 4. Could invite a load of randoms and hope, but dont have the patience for that. The other 2 crew related trophies are just to join/create a crew and drive in a crew in formation for 5km. Still in a driving mood at the minute though, so might install the ps4 version and see if it's one of those the trophies instantly pop. If not, might mess about a bit more
Motorfest looks like being one of those weird ones, where some trophies pop immediately from the PS5 to PS4 versions, but a good lot look like they'll need done again. Just like that, im not sure im in the mood for it. No idea what's next though
Ping! River Pirates. Cheap wee tower defence, not quite as balanced as M.A.C.E. but quick and easy plat.And although it's very early days, Lies of P is a very good souls clone. Just past the demo area so far but no complaints from me.
Also played a couple of "almost" games. MythForce and Eternights. If their combat was a bit more refined, they'd definitely be on to something.
Spent a fair bit of the weekend playing Lies of P. No big complaints from me, very solid souls type. I do get the feeling it'll wear me down though eventually. Most of the bosses so far have been fine, but the last couple have started hitting significantly harder. But generally, good stuff

Morning all.I'm going to add River Pirates to my list. More for the tower defence aspect so cheers for the tip Deck. I love tower defence games but they're sorely lacking on PS.
This weekend I played Toem. A indie game available on + Extra that I'd had downloaded for ages but never felt like starting. I wish I had started it sooner though as its great. Lovely art style and gameplay loop. Quite a relaxing game which, having done most things I can hopefully ping tonight. Then I'll tackle the free DLC. Would highly recommend this game.
