From the little I've read, it looks like the lvl 15 trophy isn't bugged in Motorfest, I just have to wait another 15 days till the current event is over before it'll pop....I think

Still playing and enjoying Lies of P, though more and more I'm getting the feeling that it'll wear me down eventually. That said, I can one shot a lot of the earlier enemies, so think maybe it'll be possible to brute force my way through with a bit (or more likely excessive) grinding

So happy to get this one, 9 years after first playing it. It was the first game I played on my PS4 as a disc version came bundled with my PS4 back in the day. I quickly blasted through it and traded it in for something else.
I rebought it a couple of years ago and did some cleaning up before stopping again as I could face Uber difficulty. I managed to get that out the way, made easier with all the health upgrades and perks from my previous clean up. That just left collectibles which I've been chipping away at for a few weeks.

Congrats on the plats, especially the Wolfenstein one. Seem to remember knocking the difficulty down to easy towards the end as I was finding it tough. Definitely don't fancy an uber run
Cheers Deck. I do like cleaning up previously played and abandoned games. I'm toying with the idea of going back to Lego Batman 2 on the PS3 as I found a guide which makes it sound not too grind.Part 1 of the guide says just play the story normally which I did 10 years ago.
Might have to have a look at my trophy list, see if there's anything close that catches the eye. Might take a break from Lies of P. On one hand, I'm not really in the mood to grind and would rather make some more progress at the minute. But on the other hand, feel like I'd need a bit of grinding to make progress a bit easier
Grinding has to be done sometimes but it's better if you're in the mood for it.I started the Toem DLC last night. They've added a couple more game mechanics which add a bit more interest. The map changes depending on whether its day or night which may make the clean up slightly trickier. Hoping to finish it tonight or at least have done most of the heavy lifting.
Managed to kill the eldest rabbit guy in Lies of P, now I'm drained. I think I'll need to find something less stressful to play alongside...
Think I may have to get another replacement ps5 controller in the near future. Since the last update, it has started turning itself off for no reason and doesn't always recognise the charging cable. I think there's a way of resetting the controller, I'll try that and hope for the best. Really hate forking out for replacements...
I've not heard of that before. Hope you get it sorted without having to fork out for a new one.I finished the Toem DLC last night. Was a simpler clean up than expected.

And then I thought I’d try Payday 3. And the first thing I’m presented with is register an account with the game dev/publisher before you can play. Absolute joke so binned it off immediately without even playing it.
I think my next games are Forza and Modern Warfare 3. Also really want to play Warhammer Space Marine 2.
Can't remember what game it was, but a while back I did something similar. Downloaded a demo, but they wanted you to create an account with them before it would let you play. I thought "no thanks, I'm not that interested"
Took a break from Lies of P over the weekend. Got stuck into the Legend of Nayuta HD remaster. Very similar to the Ys series gameplay wise. Also played a bit of Gloomhaven, which I quite like but it looks like it'll be a bit of a struggle

Yea used to be quite common 360/PS3 generation but not seen it for a while. Usually it's not mandatory.
Morning all. Hardly any gaming over the weekend as I wasn't in the mood. Stuck on Lego Batman 2 with a view to starting a trophy mop up but I didn't know what I was meant to be doing and it looks like a massive grind anyway. Life's too short so not doing this.I really want to play Space Marine 2 as well. I don't buy new games often these days but might do with this one.

I don't think it'll be on PS+, even with the price increase. (Although thankfully my yearly sub renews just before the increase takes effect).Did what you read about it coming to Game Pass give any indication of when it releases? I couldn't see anything when I looked earlier.

I might ask the missus to get me AC Mirage for Christmas as well. Assuming it truly isn’t another megathon Valhalla. Make it 20 hours and more focussed and I’ll be happy. I gave up Valhalla after 30 hours of boring repetitiveness.
Closing in on the plat for Dead Space (2023 remake. I got the plat for the 2008 game back in 2009; it was actually my first ever plat).Only one trophy left (obviously apart from the plat itself). Complete the game on Impossible difficulty, so super tough enemies, high damage taken, less resources, only one save slot allowed and permadeath - if you die you have to restart the game from the beginning. Easy stuff then lol.
Good luck with the Dead Space plat Phil. That'd be a very impressive one, especially along side your original one.Yes AC Mirage is meant to be like the old style AC games. Not these marathon map clearers. I've heard 20 hours playtime, 30 hours for completionists. One I'll have a look at next year I think.
It'll be a bit of a shame if Space Marine 2 gets released much onto 2024. I like the look of Helldivers 2 as well, another 3rd person shooter against overwhelming waves of enemies, due out in Feb 2024. Would be a shame if they released close to each other as I'd have chose one or the other. Having said that, Helldivers 2 is a Sony first party game so may come to PS+ on release. Still time wise, it'd be a shame if they're not spread out.
Started River Pirates last night. Up to level 15/25. A bit on the basic side but still a decent tower defence game. £2.49 well spent so cheers Deck, for the heads up.

Only warhammer video game I've ever played is Space Marine 1 which was really very good at the time. I have watched some game play videos of Darktide and it does look very good. I'd only ever play it single player (maybe try it with randoms too) so hopefully it's good solo. I was fine playing Back 4 Blood solo and with randoms so here's hoping. My gaming mates are on PS5 so miss out playing with mates on XBox.
Half of my friends list was met playing Vermintide, lol. Randos are totally fine as long as you aren't playing higher difficulty levels. I highly recommend picking up Vermintide 2 the next time you see it on a deep discount. It's a pretty unique gaming experience, even if owes a lot to the Left 4 Dead series for it's game design.

Not sure what's next for me either. Finished the story of Legend of Nayuta but not sure about the plat attempt. Looks like it's possible with a 2nd playthrough but reckon I could make it easier with doing 3 instead (one to mop everything up, the last quick run through on the hardest difficulty, could attempt them both in one, but some of the side stuff might be too much of a chore). As nothing else is really tempting me at the minute, might stick with it for a while

I think I've ballsed up my Legend of Nayuta plat attempt. I'd thought I'd have enough points from the first playthough to unlock all the NG+ bonuses but I've left myself short. Think it might be salvageable but it might end up being easier starting another NG+
Ping! Lord of the Click: Interstellar Wars. Less clicking than I expected and a nice quick, easy plat. Apparently, it's the 4 of the series, I'll be tempted to pick up the others...
That came has a 100% completion rate on PSNP. Sounds more grubby than My Name is Mayo ;)
Yeah, even the console trophies say 70% who have played it got the ping. Not a terrible game though, short and the same tactics can be used on every map but defo more involved than Mayo
It's payday today and I'm thinking of picking up Remnant 2 in the PS store sale. This would be ridiculous given my backlog but I quite fancy it.
I gave up on Remnant 2 pretty quick. Could have just been the mood I was in when I went to play it though.
What put you off it do you think?
Not sure. It's pretty much identical to the first one. Maybe I'd have a higher opinion of it if i'd picked it up cheap, but as i didn't, it felt like a budget game at a non-budget price.
Yeah, I'm hoping that one shows up on Game Pass at some point like Remnant 1. It was a fantastic surprise for *free*. If it's more of the same I imagine I'll have a great time with it...eventually.
Played a fair bit of Fate Samurai Remnant over the weekend and quite like it. Combat is a bit Dynasty Warriors but with a lot less enemy numbers and between the story and town exploration, it's not been a slog. Looks like it'll drag on for a while though, well over 15 hours and still on chapter 2.
I finally made a start on Guardians of the Galaxy this weekend. It's been sat on my PS5 for almost a year (pretty much the entire time I've had my PS5). Enjoying it so far but stressing a little about the collectibles as they all need to be got in one playthrough for the plat.
Tried going back to Lies of P as I'd heard they've nerfed a few enemies...Yes, noticed a slight difference, but it's still a bit too stressful for me at the minute. Managed to get past a sub boss who was causing me problems, but only by cheesing the fight, tried fightinghim normallybut no, he was having none of it. Only explored a wee bit past it before deciding I'll come back to when I'm fully in the right frame of mind.Still, it's a really decent effort overall from a relatively unknown developer
Been enjoying a nice little retro RPG called Chained Echoes. I've been pretty pulled in by its storytelling so far. The narrative is engaging but keeps things light and moving. This is unlike Octopath Traveler where I didn't want to read any more lengthy life stories by the third or fourth character.

Been playing Cyberpunk 2077 and i still dont feel it completely.
The graphics are amazing, the story is also good so far but i feel like there´s something missing but i cant put my finger on what.
I just dont feel excited to go back to it every night.

So...been playing Skyrim for the last 3 days.
I wasnt feeling anything i´ve been playing lately so i fired up my 160rs save file and 5 minutes after i was completly immersed in the game again. Been doing Misc quests along with the Dawnguard dlc since its one of the things i never started before.
Sometimes i feel like this contant cycle of finishing a game and then start another is very tiresome.
I wish i had the mental strenght to force myself to just replay my favourite games for 5 or 6 months and not worry about the huge backlog i have waiting for me.
Hi all. I've been playing Guardians of the Galaxy. It's pretty good but I'm finding it a bit of a slog, mainly thanks to the collectibles, so I'm not making particularly good progress.Hey Deck, apparently the Motorfest platinum is now achievable.
Turns out Darktide is out and on Game Pass...I'm downloading it as I type and look forward to playing over the weekend.
Yeah I was keeping an eye on the lvl 15 trophy in Motorfest. It popped for the PS5 version, so put on the PS4 version, hoping I'd not have to do it twice...but no. Weirdly, if they'd let me start with no trophies, i might have been tempted, but having a few of the pop immediately quashed my motivation. Do like the game but since I'll probably not plat either with the 3 "crew" related trophies, I'm happy to move on. And looking forward to both HW Unleashed 2 and WRC later in the month, so I'll be getting g my racing fill soon enough.Also decided that I'm not picking up AC Mirage until I've finished Valhalla, so possibly never since the chances I'll be in the mood to go back to it are pretty small.
And kind of felt in a bit of a COD mood for the first time in ages, so went to install Black Ops Cold War, to see if I could motivate myself to continue the story....but nearly 190GB storage for (from what I remember) a really average looking game, I'm not sure I'm that fussed. Might stick on the MW remasters instead, really not sure Cold War is worth a quarter of the hard drive. And by not sure, I mean 100% convinced ;)
