In book 5 (view spoiler)[ the story starts when Percy is few days away from his 16th birthday. But in book 4, he celebrated his 15th birthday at the end of the book. So, we've just skipped almost an entire year? And Percy mentions that this summer was his most difficult summer. But if that's the case, why weren't we part of it?? (hide spoiler)]

I've finished till chapter 15 till now in book 5 but honestly, it's just okay... I mean, I get that the stakes are high and everything but it is very repetitive. (view spoiler)[ We've had almost 3 encounters between Kronos and Percy till now and we know that Kronos is ever so powerful and can play with time... So I don't understand why he hasn't tried to kill him yet :/ (hide spoiler)]

I think it's because this is the short story book? Demigod Files I think, but I'm not sure the exact timeline

NOOO😰😥😱 That wouldbe like skipping SoC because the grishaverse trilogy isn't great. HoO is so much different and better. We get somany new characters and complex plot. Like you really don't want to miss it. PJO is RR first series and it reads very middle grade..but he gets really better.

Also if you read ToA first, you'll get MAJOR spoilers for HoO and you'll never be able to take it back and read HoO with the experience RR intended :(

Guys if you are gonna do HoO. Whenever that is you have to join the HoO br. I don't want to miss out on discussing and seeing both ur reaction. I am still in denial that HoO is ending so I am putting off reading the final book :'( I want to br with someone. And share my emotional condition. Maybe I will just reread the whole series again. lol. I am just thinking of jumping to trials of apollo so that I don't have to see HoO end. I feel too attached to these characters.

I have reached an impasse. There is no way out of it now. This is the reason I don't like doing series. Especially the completed ones. Because now I know there is no more :'( It's incredible how fictional things effect me so much while my real life problems are waiting for me to take notice of them.

Outlander, game of thrones (it's neverending), lord of the rings, ember in the ashes

I haven't read any of these so I have no clue if they're actually good.😂.just listing out some fantasy for you

Haven't watched outlander so don't know about the book. But yeah GOT is one option. But I would like to br it since it is high fantasy. If anyone is interested then sure I would love to do the series..

City of brass has been in my tbr for so long. I even have all thebooks but at home. I might actually start this. I am scared of starting poppy war. I have heard great reviews and mostly that it is gonna break my heart and make me cry🥺💔
