Her vision swims, still tinged black, but she can just barely see Persephone and Max through the haze. “We… We were attacked,” she manages to croak, biting her lip to hide the pain of her leg. Rize wipes a dirty sleeve over her tear-streaked face, hoping the Gamemakers hadn’t seen them. “The…rebels…”

So I made up a few lies to convince them while telling Persephone not to kill herself, of course most of it was still based on the truth though. I myself am not going to kill or question the rebels left behind because I don't think I have the willpower to do that but someone else could. Also, do you have any ideas on how we could get Kalisse back so Persephone could say goodbye?" He paced the room, looking around for more ideas on what happened. Then he stopped "I'm sorry if that was a lot to process, I guess I just talk more when I'm stressed?"

Suddenly, a loud humming sound comes from above the building, and then-a loud crashing sound echoes from the top of the building and debris of metal, glass, and wood flies past the window, most probably coming from the explosion upstairs.

The only thing that snapped Persephone out of her daze was the loud explosion upstairs. Her eyes widened and she cursed loudly, running to the window. She looked up to where the explosion had come from, screaming in hysterical fury. "NO! GODDAMMIT, NO!"

Suddenly they hear loud footsteps in the staircase leading down here.Suddenly, the footsteps stop, in an unorderly fashion, revealing that at least three people are there.
"Shit, I think there's someone in there," says a loud female voice.
"Then let's ask them for help. I'm sure they'll be understanding," says a second feminine voice, though her tone is hard to understand. Sarcastic? Deadpan? Naive?
"Okay-" starts the first voice.
"No! You fucking idiots, you're going to get us killed!" hisses a third feminine voice, this one less audible.
"Good!" shouts out the first voice and her voice gets closer as footsteps come closer.
The lab door seems to be pulled, then pushed, as someone tries to open it, but of course, can't get in.
"Shit," curses the first voice. She says it quite softly but since she seems to be right by the door, it can be heard.
