It was a very close and exciting game for much of the night. Toby Greene is a natural Captain for the Giants (pity poor Stephen Coniglio when he resumes the role). So the Dogs remain unbeaten - but they come up against Richmond next week! For the second week in a row, Lez takes out the $7 on offer for the closest margin - her lucky 43 is working for her at the mo.

Hi Val, I did e-mail Lez on the 8th this month to see how she was but no reply. Just wondering if you or anyone knew has she is?

I too have had no response to emails, phone call and voice message left. I have been in touch with nocheese and she has had the same result. I am now going to send snail mail to her address and also her two neighbours (who according to nc are both new and probably know nothing) but I'm hoping to guilt them into finding out.

Gordon too hasn't been on the forums for quite a while. It's always worrying.

EDIT: Just had an email from nc. She has found out that Les is "fine" but no further information at this stage. Phew!

Bloody Hawks! The crows had a magical start until half-time. Then they stopped.

The ANZAC Day game at the G was a cracker - just as well since the last few have been fizzers. My baby Bombers did the day proud after Collingwood's three goals in two minutes start. It's always a moving day with all the military presence, minute's silence, last post, etc. The crows was 78,000 plus - supposedly the biggest sporting crowd anywhere since March 2020.
