He and Angie Heated up the pages.... and this would easily be a huge 5 star read if it wasn't for her crazy ass friends who make no sense and to be honest i skimmed alot while they had scenes.... Just totally unrelatable and over the top... Take them out this easily would have been a 5 star!

Very cute (and scary at times, I mean wow, she hit the man with a toilet seat!). Lots of moving parts in this one but the author handled them well. These three "sisters" are absolutely psycho! But I guess they work.
I really liked Nik for Angelina. He was really good for breaking down her walls. I wonder if he would be just as good at settling her a bit because mating didn't seem to work for the other two women in the squad.
I'll have my second book done later today.
They are mentel... Kidnapping and tranqing and putting Nik in a zoo after savinf angies life out me off them a bit.... Not Angie but Sara and Mika

There are certain characters in this series that greatly annoy me, and that results in me giving this slightly lower rating than I may have otherwise. Concept of the series is good, execution not the best. I think I keep hoping this is just growing pains for the early books of what is a vast series, but after 3 books now, I’m not so sure that is a valid excuse anymore.

Also, the females of these stories are downright SCARY!

I loved this book. I love this family. I don't care if I have read the books out of order they are so great! I really felt for Tori because no one gave her the benefit of the doubt. I felt like Ethan did but then some issue came up with his kids. And I could see it from his point of view but my heart broke for Tori. I'm glad that everything turned out well in the end because these two were smokin' hot together Throw the kids and it was just about perfect.
The narration wasn't perfect but other than that...love!!!

This blew me away.
Anyone who knows me knows that I count historical romance among one of my least favorite subgenres of romance, but I think I may have to change that. I have read some fantastic historical romances that have been some of my favorite novels. And this book is no different.
I haven't read anything by this author before, but she's definitely gained a fan. I loved this family. I loved every word that she put on the page. Mariah was so strong. I just loved her and so much respect for everything she went through.
Logan was funny in the way he was so caught off guard by Mariah. But, I loved the way he handled Mariah's mother. I really couldn't stand that woman!!!
I look forward to reading more about this family and more by this author.

And I have surprisingly enjoyed both cowboy books! Both new to me authors too

This really was a good “woman in jeopardy” story, and a nice surprise to me as I’ve never read this author before. It also was a small town romance and so this was a nice blend of the two, with the heroine having been placed in this small town in Wyoming by the marshalls for her protection. The town’s Sheriff is appointed as Presley’s protector and they eventually fall in love. This was sweet, sexy, and just a well-written book, and one that makes me want to read the other books in the series.

The plot was quite convoluted but came together nicely in the end. I thought Jay's character was so complex and I loved that about it. I hated how he kept so many secrets from Matilda but the suspense was all worth it in the end. I also love how her scar was a non-issue for everyone (except her), I kept forgetting that she was supposed to have one until it was brought up in some way. Jay liked her and it wasn't an "in spite of the scar" type thing like he should get an award or something, and I loved that.
I really thought the premise, the plot, the inner workings of it, and the romance were fantastic. I would probably have given it *5 STARS* but the narrator in this one was HORRID! Seriously, I have never listed to a more painful narration ever in life. It was stilted, monotone, and more than once I had to seriously consider whether or not audible was playing a trick on me since the main character was an illusionist. I will definitely make sure to never get another book with that narrator again. My hope was that it was her fist project and she's grown because if she hasn't, I really think she should find another line of work.
