ROFLMAO!!!

Well, I want to decrease my parameters, as my initial shelf has over 13,000 books on it and I don't really make shelves for specific things... I know, I am lazy! *headdesk* LOL!!!
And, I haven't really added many of the books that I have gotten since 2018... so, I was thinking about using this time to add those, also... I am NOT used to not having a book to read... grrr

Now, to add my NEW books and work on those darn books without page counts... grrr

Done! If you have books that don't have a page count on Amazon either, list them and I'll see if I can find them for you. :)

Have just come across a few of those, but they were really old so I am not to worried about them!
Are you getting excited? *waggles eyebrows*

With St. Patricks Day coming up, everyone is Irish! As a team select whether you are going to read books set in Ireland OR books with an Irish character OR books with a primarily green cover. Each teammate must read a book that fits the qualification selected, no pass for this task.
Please include the team selected qualification in your completion posts. Remember you need to include how you know your book qualifies! I need to know where to look to confirm your book, include any info or links as necessary. If choosing the primarily green cover, it needs to be over 50% green to be accepted. Don’t forget to use the first edition Kindle page count!

I had high hopes for this one... and I wasn't disappointed! *grin*
Let me start by saying... WOW, that was a lot of sex for just ONE week! LOL!!!
OK, yes, the story does cover more than one week, but that first week sure did leave an impression!
If I had to explain the 4-star rating instead of 5-stars, I would say it came down to a couple of annoying name switch-ups and all that dang cheating! Thank goodness it wasn't the MCs or I would have dropped this book like a hot potato! I understand that drama is important, but seriously? Even I was confused after a bit... especially with the whole Shelia/Simone name switch at one point... grrr
But, as for Blue and Tristain? It would appear that Tristian is a great kisser... for a straight guy! *snort* LOL!!!
The humor was spot on for me and even though, at times, it felt like Tris and Blue's story almost took a backseat to the family drama that was going on around them, these two managed to overcome everything that life threw at them! We got a pretty good introduction to future MCs and I look forward to moving on with this series!

Fall Through Spring by Amy Lane
Pages: 252
Qualification: Green Cover
Read: 3/15/21
Rating: ★★★1/2 Stars
Apparently I was really looking for to the story of these two. Sadly I didn't remember that because I read the other two so long ago. Things did come back to me but not to the extent I probably needed them to. That said, this one did seem heavier than the other two. Loved Dane and Clay's friendship and once the romance (sex) got started, it was really great but by the end these two weren't anywhere near an HEA. More of a HFN with a whole lot of potential. More of a 3.5 star read for me.

Love this book. So much history from the series and full of love in different forms. I would love another book set in Sobeck but I doubt that will happen - and really Jin, Logan and their family need a good break and a quiet life!

Just a thought, what if we read a book that isn't Kindle, say it is only on Smashwords or some independent site like that and doesn't have a Kindle page count... can we still use the book?

The reason I asked was that several of the books I posted today didn't have a Kindle edition and I was hoping to be able to use them if the Task fits! *grin*

Are there others you're thinking of?

Hi Donna - this is in Kat's completion post requirements:
**Remember to use the first edition Kindle page count only! If your page count comes from a Kindle edition published on the initial publication date on the editions page, it will count. If your page count comes from a Kindle edition labeled '1st edition', it will count. If your page count comes from the earliest dated English language Kindle edition, it will count. I am looking for one of those three things when confirming your books! As long the page count you list is correct, I will accept any link to the book. Ebook page count will be acceptable if no Kindle page count available. The acceptability of other page counts will be made on an individual basis.**
...If in doubt, just ask MKat in the Q&A thread :)

I found this book really odd. It features a modern day baronet's son but aristocracy belongs in the 19th century and back, not in the modern day England. I found it really hard to get into. The characters were ok and of course there was a happy ending but nothing special.

Going forward should we have the last person post the completion post or are you happy to do it.
