Here is your next task!Task 25 - 80. Read 4 books initially published in different decades.
Books selected for this task need to be initially published in different decades (not necessarily consecutive). Make sure you use the initial publication date. If there is a date listed at the top of the editions page use it, otherwise I will be looking for the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format for the qualification. Please include your chosen decade in your completion post.
This is what we have 1990 Janeylou...need to finish series strted last time
2000 Amanda
2010 Trio
2020 Caipi
(Thank you Janine for taking one for the team!)
My wedding photographer just got around to posting a blog post for our wedding and it's making me miss it so much! It was also the last time we were able to be around a lot of people as everything shut down like the following week. Can't wait until we can actually do things again, which is huge for a shut in like me lol

Review: This just wasn't really the right book for me. The writing was actually really well done, if a little purple-y at times, but I honestly liked all the stuff about Arthur's life in the beginning best and it slowly went downhill from there. There's also some language that could definitely be considered transphobic, so overall I probably won't be continuing the series (or going back to read the first one), but it wasn't completely awful.
Amanda wrote: "My wedding photographer just got around to posting a blog post for our wedding and it's making me miss it so much! Even introverted ones like me.....

I really was unsure of how this could end. The chemistry between James and Sawyer was awesome but how could the author give them their hea with Sawyer's family's legacy on the line? I was afraid that I would dislike James in the end.....
But yeah, there was a solution and I was happy. 😊

I love this hate/love trope. :) The chemistry and struggle for dominance/submission between Royce and Haydn was awesome. I greatly enjoyed reading it although it dragged a bit in the middle.

Review: Another fun installment in the series! I forgot just how long it takes for Demmy and Cody to get together and in this one their just realizing their feelings for each other, so it's fun to read knowing what's in store for them

Review: This was a very sweet YA tale about a lonely boy with his head in the stars and what it takes to ground him on earth. It had a great cast of characters and felt very real (even with the aliens). It did feel like some things happened off page that I must’ve missed, but I still truly enjoyed the story.
Book 3
Harvest Moon by Sam Burns

Review: Oh I think I loved this book even more than the first one, it was almost impossible to put down even for important things like eating; I just wanted to keep reading! Alexis and Ridge were just so sweet and lovely, and yes completely oblivious and dumb at times, but it just made me want them to figure it out all the more. And through this budding relationship Sam and Waverly do what they do best, create a completely intriguing world that you just can’t help but get completely swept up in. I’m loving learning about everything that’s happening and how they’re going to deal with the repercussions. A great romance, an interesting plot? You really couldn’t ask for more! And that teaser of the next book! I want it now!

No problem! Wishing you a speedy recovery!
Well we up to 785 pgs so got a way to go yet 😄😄😄Im sure this isnt gonna work with any of our pirate tasks 😱😱
Up to 993 pgsIm trying to find a moon that works with moon and a Y , thats before ive even got to pirates 😄
I'm definitely feeling better today thank goodness for speak to text.I'm still confused about this pirate challenge where did you guys find your tasks?
Theres a thread for your area with your tasks and then there a thread for histical task ..they all labelled separately
Trio, you are Caribbean, so Caribbean team 1 & 2 and all singles will.all have the same tasks ..then they all added up at the end for the winner .Im finding that the tasks are a bit harder than in nirmal groups initially ..but once you talk about them it becomes easier .
Although tbh even thoigh Brittany said you didnt need to be on a specific mm team its easier to diiscuss books that will work for tasks
Janeylou wrote: "Ill find one with just over 200 pgs ..going to have to skip the Y"I have that arc too for moon if you need a Y book. I can start tonight and finish tomorrow
Janeylou wrote: "Trio, you are Caribbean, so Caribbean team 1 & 2 and all singles will.all have the same tasks ..then they all added up at the end for the winner .Im finding that the tasks are a bit harder than in..."
okay, thank you, it's new and confusing even if i wasn't on pain meds!
and my team seems a mite judgey, ill get the hang of it im sure.
im good for the next task now too... im teaching my laptop to type my speach but its not as good as my phone
Janeylou wrote: "Although tbh even thoigh Brittany said you didnt need to be on a specific mm team its easier to diiscuss books that will work for tasks.."You definitely lucked out with your pirates team, Janeylou and Amanda!!
The spirit of a team gets lost. As nice as the teammates might be it's lonely and boring when you can't discuss which books will work for a task.
Trio wrote: "im good for the next task now too... im teaching my laptop to type my speach but its not as good as my phone"Hope you'll soon be able to use your hand without pain again, Trio! But isn't the technology that makes this speech to text and reverse possible fascinating?!
I'm having some trouble getting it to work but I'm trying.Honestly I was thinking I would be able to type with my right hand even just a little bit but it's only the second day so I'm going to try to be patient 😇
and maybe my team will turn out to be a super sweet group, I hope

Also, how else are you supposed to keep your TBR at like 2000 books if you can't get them from challenges?!
