Hi MK for books published in different decades, how do we handle a book published in 1990, 2000, 2010 and 2020?
Also is it the first publication date regardless of format?Do we link this edition or the first kindle?

It is the first publication date regardless of format. If there is a date at the top of the editions page use it, that is what I will check first. If there isn't a date listed there, I will look at all the editions and use the earliest dated English language edition regardless of format.
I don't care which edition you link to, as long as it gets me to the editions page! That is where I will look to confirm the date published and the page count. (The only time I don't look at the editions page is if the qualification is a cover item or an MPG tag or something like that and the linked book is labeled as 1st edition Kindle. π)

Mkat for the monthly rrrc challenge can we use the alternate options, like for cat 3 one of the Alternate options is to read a LGBTQ+ book? M/M books would fall under that, right?
