MKat - when it comes to the sub-genre does it actually have to be presented as a sub-genre (aka Romance > Paranormal Romance) or just another MPG listed other than Romance. Also would MM Romance count as a sub-genre?

Answered as yes in message 140 that MM is a sub-genre

It doesn't have to be presented as a sub-genre like in your example. And yes to MM Romance.

Missed that. :) Thanks!
Can we use the series rule for task 24? - Read 6 books on RRRC's bookshelf, the books can not be added by anyone on your team within the last year. Also, and I think I've seen this somewhere, but books need to be started after the task is posted, correct?

Yes and yes. You can use the series rule and books cannot be started before the task is assigned.

🤣🤣 Thanks! I felt kind of silly asking, but I wasn't sure because the population wasn't as high as the other ones listed.
Hi Kat, for task 29, if we pick ‘law enforcement’ would security guard fall under that category?Task 5 - 29. Read over 750 pages in books about the same profession, teams decide which profession.

No, they are not considered law enforcement.
I'll be slowly working my way through the completions this morning, slow being the operative word there. Just not moving fast so far today, but will do my best to get you all the next task before too long.
This may seem like a foolish question, but what qualifies a book as a romance for the purposes of TART?
Truitt_T wrote: "This may seem like a foolish question, but what qualifies a book as a romance for the purposes of TART?"What qualifies a book as romance (I think there are a couple of tasks that are specific to romance) would be being tagged as romance. Ideally MPG, or at least first page, but not required.
In general though, books do not have to be romance for this challenge. (I would still want my happy ending no matter what I read!) Books do have to be fiction to qualify for this challenge. That would be determined in any of a number of ways, tags being the easiest.

Thank you! And and prefer happy endings, too. :)
Kat, for this task.Task 6 - 11. Read 4 books in continuing series, one that has not been completely published.
I started readinh King of Scars but I've realized that the next book is out tomorrow. If I finish it today would you accept the book for this task?

Yes, that is fine.
Hi Kat - for male author:Will Max Rowan work?
https://www.goodreads.com/author/show...
They also appear to be known as Max Hawthorn, but that is equally blank:

There's nothing on GR or Amazon to indicate sex, so I am working off name only :)

Edit - found a reference on the web to 'she', so I'll find another author :)
Hi Kat - for "Pick another team and each member reads one book that was read by a member for this challenge" - can we all pick the same member, and the same book if we wished? (What I'm really asking is if any team member is ok even if we double up ~ convoluted way of asking but I was trying cover additional scenarios if needed 🧐)
Thanks!
