MK, just wanted to check this with you. According to Tineye this cover is over 70% blue. ( when using my I phone), its a much lower number on my Ipad (less than 50%)
Can I just get your agreement I can use it. (Team chose blue for the book cover )

Hi Kat, sorry if this has been answered and I have missed it! For task 52. Read 6 5 books with the same color cover, teams decide color. Does the cover need to be the first Kindle Edition or can it be any cover?

I don't know how you are getting that number, I even tried on my phone and I am getting the exact same percentages, less than 40% blue and more than 50% black. The cover would work for black, but not blue - sorry.

You can use any edition's cover to qualify for that task.

Just checking for RRRC monthly challenge if the category say

Eg 🌷 Read a book categorized on Goodreads as paranormal, or a book that mentions a haunted location or an otherworldly being.
🌷 You can also read a book with a spooky cover (your interpretation), a book in which a character dies or is dead, or a book where a character inherits something from the dead (i.e., house, riches, family heirloom, etc).
Can the players read from either option or does it need to be the same option within the category.

I'd like to know which version to use for the book:
The Inquisitor's Key by Jefferson Bass

There are several editions listed --the kindle book with the earliest date has no page count and looking at the verions on amazon, I think that entry is an error anyway.

The version I linked, with it's matching info at Amazon, is the version I think is correct. The book you listed, The Bones of Avignon by Jefferson Bass, I think that is a different title for a non-US version? I'm not sure what this version is.


And it just occurred to me that this book isn't a romance.

This seems too convoluted to figure out. I can find something else to read.

Books do not have to be romance for this challenge, only fiction. I only care that the edition is an English language edition, not that it is a US one - so many people are outside the US anyway. If you want to read this book, just use the page count for the edition I linked to - it will work.
