Old man's war is excellent. It's one of my favourites.I 've just finished A Gift of Time. Another excellent book.
I've started Blue Night and hope to squeeze in The Little House in the Big Woods ifI have time
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We have a possibility of a 50 books chain. It probably will not happen as I am sure some (including me) will not finish all our books) but still.... wow.

I had just over 2 hours left. The ebook is more iffy.
I am starting a third book tonight, and estimate there’s a 25% chance I will finish it in time: Little Elvises.

Yes, the first sentence packs a punch! You're right in there!
50 books would be amazing! My local library has been doing their bit... I requested Little House in the Big Woods at 2am (I couldn't sleep) and they emailed me at 8am to say I could pick it up!
It's a book I was given as a child one Christmas and just couldn't get into. I'm interested to read it again and see if I've grown up enough to get it now 😬

Poongothai wrote: "I'm reading The House of Blue Mangoes which can be linked with Blue"I didn't think you could have blue mangoes, but I suppose they can be purple blue (I had sky blue in my mind's eye, which is silly) Sorry, just musing away ... I'm not awake yet. Lol
With a bit more than 24 hours to go I want to make sure I did not drop a book, Please, could you have a look at the spreadsheet and make sure I have them all and that their status is ok?
I am half way through my ebook and there is a good chance I will be able to finish it by noon tomorrow. My audio is far more unlikely, but not impossible.
Esther wrote: "With a bit more than 24 hours to go I want to make sure I did not drop a book, Please, could you have a look at the spreadsheet and make sure I have them all and that their status is ok?"Mine are all correct. I work this morning, have a hair appointment this afternoon, then I'm going to power read to get those last 2 books read.
I'm half way through my book and will be done before the end of the Topper. My entries on the spreadsheet are correct.
I have Not the End of the World from the e library I am not always a fan of short stories but will give this a go - it can go on the end of the chain if i get through it

I finished both my books. I did not think I could finish my audio but I had a moment. The title was also available as an eBook so I borrowed it and finished it .

I finished my last two books. I'm on the bus just now with a dodgy signal, so I'll link to them later. They're reported in the thread.
I finished reading my last book last night. Tea Time for the Traditionally BuiltI read it out of series order but it didn't matter too much. Not too many surprises were revealed.
I enjoyed the Toppler and now have quite a few more titles to add to my tbr. Esther, you did a great job as captain. Thank you. Everybody really stepped up to the plate reading so many books. I thought I'd only get to read 2 but ended up reading 4. WooHoo!
I will not be able to finish my last book (Little Elvises) before our deadline, but the spreadsheet is correct for me earlier reads. Thanks, Esther!
I didn't finish my last book, Dark Resurrection. I woke at 7:00 this morning and read till 9:00. I knew that I wouldn't finish by 10:00 (end of toppler in my time zone), so gave up. Bummer! I did finish 5 books overall.
I managed to read 7 books... 2 more than my maximum. I found two 5 star reads and there were no books below 3 stars. I really enjoyed the week of reading and the teamwork too. Thanks everyone. And thank you Esther for guiding us through things. Your spreadsheet skills are impressive !

well final score. We manage a long chain of 56 for a total of 770 points!!!!!!!
This is incredible!!!!!!
Great team. This was fun!
Oh yeah, I had two 5 star reads and one was almost a 5 star read. All the rest were 4 star reads which is an awesome run for me. Maybe 2021 will be an improvement for me - at least in my reading pleasure.

oups,,, thanks!!!
We had a slow start picking books and I didn't have many short books to conncet the words, I thought we'd be the last one. But we did it! Awesome, team! It's nice doing the toppler with you guys, and thanks Esther for managing the spreadsheet. It's super easy to access and understand!
Woohoo! I don't recall being on a winning toppler team before - yay, us! and Esther, props again for all the hard work you contributed, and herding us across the line.
I did not have much herding to do. That was easy to manage. Being sleep deprived I had the feeling you were keeping me straight. :)Great team! Congrats to all!!!! This was a fun one.
