Which reminds me--I need to put a load of laundry in the washer. Ugh--chores!

I have to go back and forth between Mere Christianity and another book because it is so heavy and my mind is already whirling a million miles a minute! It's nice to pick something else up in between chapters.

It's about a couple that adopts a baby and the trouble they have after the birth father comes back into the picture! It hooks you from page one and you can't believe what this dirt bag puts these people through! Its a great book and I'm almost done!

Mere Christianity is a deceivingly small book, but I could only digest a bit at a time. So much to think about!

Oh, I know! I thought it was something I could sit down and read in a day. Hahaha! After the first chapter I felt like I had just read a college textbook and hardly could take everything in.

Post how it is... I'm curious. I'm looking for a good scary book.

Oh darn! Haha, I'd rather hoped that someone found a good scary read just in time for Halloween!

The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo
Julia's Chocolates
One Thousand White Women The Journals of May Dodd

It's on my to-read list, mainly because it's so highly suggested and popular... do you think someone can like the book without relating to it?

I would have enjoyed it more if I hadn't related to it! It's hard to say, though. It is a fast read, so it's worth your time if dysfunctional families aren't terribly upsetting to you.

I will NOT be finishing the series!
So now I'm reading The Host by Stephenie Meyer. Much better.

Oh my goodness, no I did not like it at all! I very much had to force myself to finish it.

I just started The Hunger Games...I'm only on page 21 (baby didn't want me to read last night!)...but it's really good so far. I love books like A Brave New World and Animal Farm!

Now I'm back onto Mere Christianity and I cannot stop reading it this time. I project it'll be finished in a few days.

A Perfect Christmas by Debbie Macomber, Morning Comes Softly by Debbie Macomber and Murder Most Frothy by Cleo Coyle.

Knowing you and his books, you'll finish it by Sunday night :)

It took me way too long because it wasn't one of his best.
