I just arrived here in a sorry state and I have I got a story to tell...

It all began when I saw the HIdden Figures (1)...they are invisible to most people due to their Genetic Engineering (2) but I have a genome sequence that lets met see them. Anyway I decided to have a closer look as they weren't really paying attention to me. I heard them plotting murder! They said it was just A Matter of Trust (3) before they could commit their Red, White and Blueberry Murder (4). Hurry! Wickedly They Come (5) this way. Hide your blueberries...!!

Do you mean books?
Any books you read after you join the adventure count, and there's the welcome basket as well -- which you can find here -- that lets you use up to 15 books that you read in the 12 months PRIOR to starting your adventure here. (As long as you started after Jan 1, 2016.)

There is, I believe, at least one quest that does ask for all books to be "fresh" as in read after that quest was begun.

don't think so, no. but there's definitely a quest where they are explicitly required - the Fairies?

I've already done the fairies, trying to find the best use for it as I must read series in order!

I am the same way. ---but I don't think they can be used in leveling. I always use those in other quests.

Let me just ask the mods (Tea, Kelly) to make sure that works (I don't know if it requires the actual "sticker" on it or not.)

If so, I have the romance book 12 Days of Dash and Lily ready and that would work for the horse.

I have to save A Breath of Snow and Ashes for my sword.

Questions for Mods

For "Read a book that proudly displays its award. (i..e award "sticker" on the cover)". - Does it have to have the sticker on it? Or could it just proudly display its award in a proclamation on the cover?

Also, for battles in general (IE I'm trying to fight gluttony) - can we opt out of using any of our "extras" for the fight.
----For example, can I tell me horse not to help in the battle (for the whole battle) and thus reduce my attack power for the entire battle?

And I'll be very nice and say you can optionally tell your pets not to attack but you can't take off weapon enhancements.
