Cassie Iturrino | 36 comments Okay book #2 for my 30 this year is JUST LIKE OTHER DAUGHTERS by Colleen Faulkner. Being the mother of a 26 year old daughter with downs can be challenging enough but to throw a romance with another mentally challenged boy into....well, this book toughes on a very emotional situation that has mom carefully crossing the line from mom and protector to mom realizing daughters grow up regardless of what we do.
