I sent her a message on there and Elfster. So I hope she sees it! Thank you <3
I usually base my elf name on how I'm feeling at the time or I try to do some random search for a name that sounds good.
I'm using the same elf name I used last year since I never revealed which one I was ;)Have fun guessing LOL
I'm enlisting professional help this time. But he might not do much better than me, honestly, LOL! :)

Ha!
Ha!
Hi sorry I haven't popped in. I like audiobooks as well as ebooks. I do have a different email from my GR one. I do have all my info in my elfster info. I do have books on it that were being used for a different elfster in a different group but I'll keep it updated since it runs to the end of the month for the other group.
I noticed today, only 10% of my tbr is available on Smashwords.Other non-Amazon users or non-American readers in this group making a wishlist can check my shelve to complete their own wishlist quicker.
https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...
And I would like to ask other smashwords using group members to link a similar shelve here, if they have one.

That doesn't matter- mine aren't the same either. As long as someone can find you on both formats, you're good!

Heather K, I believe you're the one that I see on Instagram, I was laughing so hard when I saw your post on the GR votes for romance. I have to agree though. Some I wouldn't tagged romance but other genres. LOL I still haven't voted for all since I haven't read any of those added to the vote. Oh well. hahaha

That was me!
That was me!
I just went through ALL of my wishlists on Elfster so they are all current, yes books that are on there over a year are still wanted ;) I'm so excited to get started!

We are so close!

Dammit, I need to be able to download a better imagination, lmao! I'm not coming up with anything. I can't remember who knew what elf name before, so I can't exactly reuse any.

Is there a noticeable lack of new holiday books this year or am I just missing them? Maybe I'm looking for them too early? :( I'd hate to think 2020 has knocked that holiday season creativity out of my favorite authors.

I'm noticing that, too. I want some new ones!!

I went and looked on a few of the author's websites that you can usually count on for holiday reads, Eli Easton, Keira Andrews, Amy Lane and a few more, and I didn't find anything. :( I guess that doesn't necessarily mean there won't be any, but I'm the same, I wait all year for those. I'll be sad if this stupid year has knocked the holiday stories out. Barbara Elsborg has one but I have to read The Making of Jonty Bloom first.

I already read Jonty's Christmas because I was so desperate for holiday even though I haven't read the Making of Jonty Bloom. After reading, I definitely think read Making first

LOL and I"m the complete opposite!! I am notorious for reading books out of order, or skipping one or two in a series, or starting from the end and working backwards!
I think it might be related to the fact 15 authors all took part in RJ Scott's fund-raising festive anthology
so there's that one, which is fabulous! But yeah, I've noticed a lack of festive/seasonal stories so far and there's usually a fair few mentions by now.
DJ Jamison has one coming out as I have the ARC but it's not on Goodreads yet.

OH I did read that! And you may be right, a lot of authors put their stories there. But hopefully we will get more.
Been adding some books on my Elfster Wishlist but Elfster was acting funny... some books didn't have the right cover, or came up with error message. Oh well.

I don't usually read anthologies, I don't know why, but I went ahead and put this one on the list. I'll take my holiday stories where I can get them!
**Kaycee** wrote: "Ok so I forgot when we are supposed to make up our Xmas names so we stay anonymous."It's just for if you decide to gift somebody other than your match, so the "secret santa" thing doesn't get confusing. If everybody used SS you'd never know if the gifts were from your match or not. :)

Going to start the first book soon lol.
It really does feel nice to read about all the gifting so far. It’s like we all needed something positive and some of us are just so excited and can’t help but start spreading cheer early. I have a feeling it’s going to spill over when we get matched, too. This may be the giftiest year yet!

Believe me, I'm with you! Once the holiday sales start though, that spills over into books too, so that helps! :) I just enjoy seeing what everybody gets and the elf names are the best entertainment ever, LOL!
Sheri wrote: "I've noticed the same...so sad. I love the sweet gooey holiday stories!"Yeah, me too. Good thing I have a serious catalog of awesome ones to re-read, LOL! I have a couple of must-reads to get to first but after that, I plan to jump right to If Only in My Dreams, which I've decided to make a holiday tradition *heart eyes* and In This Bed of Snowflakes We Lie, which I got last year as a gift and looooooved it! I might also reread Blame It on the Mistletoe, that was also funny and adorable!
Well, damn. I'm not feeling so deprived when I think of all the rereads. :D
Also, I was browsing through everybody's wishlists yesterday *because I'm nosy and my tbr isn't near big enough* *rolls eyes* and I noticed a book on someone's list that I know they were gifted yesterday that wasn't marked "purchased". Guys, please make sure you do this when you gift somebody, that keeps someone else from coming along and giving them a duplicate gift. I mean, they can always exchange it, true. But when I give to someone and I'm excited to see them get something I really think they'll enjoy, it takes a little bit of the fun out of it *for me* when they already have it. Because, clearly, it's all about my fun, lmao! ;)

I gave you the Sophia Soames one. Loved it too. I’m going to reread it as well this year! 😍
Leslie wrote: "I gave you the Sophia Soames one. Loved it too. I’m going to reread it as well this year! 😍"Oh I remember! *hugs* You know I adored it! <3 I can't wait to read it again, that sweetness is just what I need right now. :)

Realy? I have this error in Audible app. Did not know it was so wide spread.

I do a specific theme, and those who know me can guess easily, but it is probably a surprise for new people. I'll try to think of another good one in the same realm this year! :)
