Lisa (mooselover) | 2724 comments Series might be a difficult one as Donna starts and has to finish a series...lol

Donna (donnaburks61) | 1287 comments OK, I have both Wrecked series by Kelly Fox... :D

You know me, as long as it doesn't involve tentacles or 'cest... I will probably read it! *grin*

As you finish a task, you may move down the list to harder or more involved tasks, but tasks will be assigned at random."

I can answer this! You might have noticed that tasks at the bottom of the list have higher book and page counts than those at the top. Some of them are more involved with the decision making as well. The tasks are randomly assigned, but as you have done more tasks, the bottom of the list opens up to your team. For example, when you are assigned the 2nd task I might randomly pick from say tasks 1 - 15 but when you are assigned your 10th task I might pick from tasks 1 - 75. And because the others already know, there are hidden tasks that can't be planned for in advance. I'm fun like that. 😉😂

Lisa (mooselover) | 2724 comments Ok, here are some of my thoughts for the ones published where we need to decide as a team.

23. We can not use anything Jane for this task.

24. When we had this in the first round we were allowed to use Jane. Ill ask Kat again to make sure this is still ok.

25. This category is listed under the monthly challenge here. Its going be be hard depending on which year is chosen as they are mostly MF writers with the exception of Klune.
so far this year:
Kristen Callihan
Jill Shalvis
Jayne Ann Krentz

27. Pick a year 2017

33. Last time we used MM Romance ( seems like a no brainer)

41. over 10000 ratings. - This is going to be difficult. I only have :-
Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda
Red, White & Royal Blue
Openly Straight
Intertwined
Fake Out

49. what about the previous month. If cat called in Mar, then a Feb 21 book.

50. USA

52. Cover colour . I am easy

53. Home town is CT but last time we could also use where we live now, so London, England

54. As we have a beach cat shall we do mountains.

55. Either Australia or England

56.
I am easy with this one.
Vampires
Gay For You

58. Joined RRRC in 2014

64. Not set on a continent a TM lives on so this rules out USA< Europe and Australia. So we have Asia or Africa to choose from.

69. The awards need to be national awards like the Lambrada. The MM Romance Awards do not count for this category.

70. MM Romance.

71. Need to wait to see the teams. Need a MM team.

72. Born in the 1960s

73. Shall we use Shannons list of authors in post 897.?

74. Birth month - December

75. Easy with the letter. Last time we did C

76. Item on cover -

79. Law Enforcement

80. Thinking 1990s, 2000s, 2010s, 2020s.

82. This is going to be the hardest one. Please name some series' you are reading but haven't finished yet. We need to choose a series and read a different book from it. It needs to be listed as s series on the books GR page.

88. Motorcycle

90. Easy with months

91. Born in 1965

92. In the past

93. How about new releases, these are usually less than 100 books. Upcoming Releases

94. 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021

95. Wolf.

96. either sun or moon

Remember all books have to be a minimum of 150 pages

Donna (donnaburks61) | 1287 comments OK, I am going to have to pull up another tab and compare... just to see what in the living heck you are talking about! *headdesk* LOL!!!

message 914: by Lisa (new)

Lisa (mooselover) | 2724 comments Donna, just a bit of prep. Especially for those categories where its a team decision. If we chose ahead of time then we can start reading if we have made the decision rather thaN lose time waiting for all to agree.

Have to be honest, we are all quite easy going and if there is a category with a read a or b, then whoever is first on makes the decision. I know you dont like tentacles ( i dont either ) or 'cest which I LOVE!, but let us know if there is a genre you dont like or anything. I am not sure but I seem to remember Janes not keen on BDSM.

Donna (donnaburks61) | 1287 comments #99... I don't have favorite books, because I rarely remember them after I read them and I generally don't do re-reads... so does this mean I have to list 5 books and then pick 1 book from a list from 2 different teammates? How many books do we read? Sorry, I am finding this one a bit confusing... ugh!

Will try to get my list done shortly because I have NO CLUE where to start...

message 928: by Donna (new)

Donna (donnaburks61) | 1287 comments OK, unless stated otherwise, can we read the same book or books that another teammate is reading as long as we haven't read it in the last year?

The reason I ask is that I am lazy and have a tendency to just read whatever someone else is reading rather than do the work to find a book to fit the requirements... I was looking at #96 Sun/Moon... I HATE looking for specific things on the cover... sorry! :(

Its worth asking but I think one needs to be a series everybody is reading. Not sure if book 1 would qualify in that cat

Jane (PS) | 24334 comments Donna wrote: "#50... is USA a definitive enough choice or do we need a state or city?"

This was the details of this task in the last round which I suspect will be the same...

50. Read 6 books set in the same location, teams decide the location.

Could be major city, state within the US or country outside of the US. Please include how you know where the book is set - book details, precis, title, tags or lists, with links and other info as necessary.

message 949: by Shannon (new)

Shannon (pokey36) | 1992 comments I was just throwing series out there. I can read from anything though.

If we want to do a major city, we could do London for that one and hometown of a teammate could be me with Portland, Oregon. I think a lot of Annabeth Albert's books are here because she lives here. I've met her.

I love her stories, so those two locations work for me! As everyone knows, I am not picky about what I read, just when I read them! *snort* LOL!!!

Although, if we are throwing ideas around, I just would like to go on record that I am really NOT fond of K.A. Merikan. They just don't write anything that I can bring myself to read... I hope that is OK with the rest of you! *fingers crossed*
