That's right. I guess Tokyo Ghost and Irredeemable in July for me.
For Sept, probably Absolute Justice League Worlds Greatest Superheroes. One of the Giffen JL books is supposed to be funny, so I'll get whichever one it is.
But Oct, End League, Thor V3, Simonson Thor, Shang-Chi V4, and LOW.

The BPRD Plague of Frogs Omnibus volume 3 is the hardest to get... good luck!

And nice pics! I see you have the original FF Omnibus before they settled on the new design."
Thanks guys, and yeah I figured why not spice it up with the different edition? I later learned that its a glued binding, although I've read on other forums that its one of the better ones; It feels more solid than my FF Vol 2 omni reprint from a few years ago. The pages are definitely thicker and have this creamy off-white coloring to them, which I think is a really nice touch.
@Relstuart Haha yeah, I'm drowning in stuff to read, its a good predicament though.
For me the books I want off the Sep/Oct list are:
13 Sep 17 - Absolute Justice League Worlds Greatest Superheroes (Ross and Dini)
19 Sep 17 - Punisher: Back to the War omnibus (+variant)
19 Sep 17 - Punisher Omnibus by Ennis (Reprint)
19 Sep 17 - Planet Hulk Omnibus
03 Oct 17 - The End League (Remender) Library Edition
03 Oct 17 - LOW Book One HC
11 Oct 17 - Absolute Authority vol 1 (Reprint)
11 Oct 17 - Justice League The Darseid War Saga omnibus
17 Oct 17 - World War Hulk Omnibus
17 Oct 17 - Thor: Heroes Return Omnibus vol 1 (Jurgens)
17 Oct 17 - Shang Chi Master of Kung Fu Omnibus vol 4
17 Oct 17 - Grayson: The Superspy Omnibus
25 Oct 17 - Knightfall omnibus 2: Knightfall
There are several books I would otherwise be interested in but this list is already too big. Hellboy in Hell will have to be picked up later. I'd like to pick of some of the Justice league stuff too. We'll see if there is a gap later in the year or early 2018 and perhaps I'll go back and look picking up at some of these.

Does anyone have a comment on the Kirby DC Omnibuses, specifically Kamandi 1-2 vs 4th World 1-4? Trying to decide which set to go after and I have no background in either (or much of a DC foundation if that matters). Any opinions would be great!

I haven't read either series, but here's what I understand from my own research:
Kamandi is the story of the last boy on Earth surviving against nature and a variety of enemies. A new omni was slated for release this year which would've contained the entire run, but it appears to have been cancelled. There are a couple hardcover editions out currently that you can track down.
Fourth World is more cosmic and ties into the larger DC universe. An omnibus containing the entirety of the material is forthcoming, but it'll be absolutely massive at almost 1600 pages. There are 4 smaller hardcovers already out, so that may be a more sensible way to collect the material.
If you're a fan of Kirby or interested in classic comics, you'll probably find value in either one from my reading of reviews. It'll come down to personal preference between post apocalyptic survival or cosmic.

Also, while Kamandi was cancelled sounds like it could just be delayed and will complete a few extra issues that were NOT in the original 2 omnibi?
Either way, with new editions at minimum dropping the prices of old versions and new versions being potentially also better and the cheapest option, think I'll wait on both! Challengers of the Unknow is cheap though so I'll get that now. Thanks!

And if it's not the best book I've ever read I must be forgetting something incredible. The pace, the art, the characters, the world building, the intelligence, the mystery, the pop culture 20th century tour, Jesus. This thing is amazing. I read it in 3 days. Woke up at 2am one night and decided to read a chapter... next thing I know it's 5:30. There is NO reason to not own this book.

If you like Planetary, try reading injection.
I'm going to diverge slightly to let everyone know about a Kickstarter project I just backed.
They are creating three illustrated classics books, both hardcover and slipcase. What brought me to the project is that one of them is being illustrated by Bill Sienkiewicz. One of the other artists is Paul Pope (Batman: Year 100).
Take a look at the project here: http://kck.st/2pNaGDW
There's just under two days left to back it.
If you aren't familiar, Kickstarter is a way for people to getting funding for a project, product, or business. People can pledge money and in return get some type of gift in return.
Also, I believe one of the people doing this is the editor of the Little Nemo books many of you bought.

I bought the slipcase with Sienkiewicz art. It'll be interesting to see if they do another round with different stories and artists.

Oh that's tough. I'm pretty limited when it comes to knowledge of artists outside of comics.
I think maybe:
The Time Machine with Alex Ross
War of the Worlds with Jock
Count of Monte Cristo with Sean Phillips
20, 000 Leagues under the Sea with Dell' Otto
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hide with Bisley

Those are pretty cool. For those interested in such things, Folio Society of London does similar things on a regular basis though not necessarily with as many comic book artists. One of their most recent releases that does feature a well know comic book artist is Niel Gaiman's American Gods illustrated by Dave McKean: http://www.foliosociety.com/book/ACG/...
There is also a nice set of Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy illustrated by Jonathan Burton (I have the first three and need to finish the set). I also have their illustrated version of Dune.

The sixth Gun volume 1 deluxe
The massive volume 1 deluxe
The superior foes of spiderman omnibus
Punk rock Jesus deluxe
And the invincibles deluxe volume 1
Going pretty good so far!
@rel: I might be interested in Dune since I still haven't read it.
@fluffy:. Just out of curiosity what store did you get them from? There's one or two big comic stores in NYC that I want to go too some day.

I do recommend it as one of the greatest sci-fi books. :)
The Count of Monte Cristo is one of my favorite classics. Comic book artists that could possibly be great at illustrating this could be Alex Ross (anything he does will likely be good), Steve Epting, Mike Deodato, Dell'Otto, David Finch (as long as he can avoid too many muscles), or Neal Adams. I'd buy Steranko in a heartbeat. :) Though he would probably be more ideal for something Sci-fi.
One of the issues here is that some of the best comic book artists are good in part because of their layouts and how they portray movements over panels. Illustrating a book usually leaves you with one panel and one image to communicate with the audience. I like Del Mundo and Francis Manapul but their layouts are part of what make them so great.
Bisely is a brilliant idea for Dr. Jekyll and Hyde.

Ordered the Rocketeer OHC, Star Wars OHC 2 by Aaron, and Kingsway West TPB vol 1 today. I did not buy the variant cover of the Star Wars OHC. While I usually try to pick up variant covers I liked the regular cover much more. :)
