You betcha... and to think I worked all of those years when I could have been reading. Who needs to eat, sleep, support a family, etc. ;-)

I finished Take Me Tonight by Roxanne St. Claire, Bullet Catchers #3 and it was enjoyable. Good to ressurect the series and here's my review.
I'm now reading Dead Wrong by Stacy Green.

Love the book and the series!

I was hoping to get to this audiobook this month but it's not looking good. Can't wait to find out what you think.

I finished Dead Wrong by Stacy Green, Delta Detectives #2, and loved it! She's created four short stories based on one of the characters in the Delta Crossroads series (Cage Foster) and if you like mysteries with procedurals, you'll love these. Here's my review.
I also finished the next book in the series, Night Terror, and it was outstanding (review to come).
I'm now reading Hideaway Cove by Anna Sullivan, Windfall Island #2, and am liking it so much more than the first.

If you like your stories gritty, if you like your heroes to take a lot of physical abuse, if you like a good old-fashioned conspiracy, may I suggest this one!
(Of course, the hero and the villains and the innocent bystanders are all vampires...)

I've been listening to The Killer Next Door and am going to set it aside to listen to The Shadows by J.R. Ward. While I'm dying to listen to the next BDB installment, I'm putting the other book aside because it is truly a little bit too twisted for me at the moment. Never thought I'd ever say that.

I just got the download from the publisher. If I hadn't gotten this book, I'd have taken a break anyway. This book I'm listening too is just...upsetting.

I'm really happy about getting this. It's because we review so many audiobooks on the blog. This comes from the audio division of the publisher.
The other book isn't scary...it's just disgusting. The serial killer keeps the bodies of the women he abducts and kills and has a home developed "preserving" method that is described in minute detail. Some of the bodies have been there for more than a year. What he does with them is even worse. I can't take it any more.

What IS it with these Nordic crime authors? Really, I may have to adjust my thinking of the Nordic countries from now on...
(So jealous, Jonetta! I have to wait for the release date!)

Are you enjoying the Shakespeare book? My Overdrive site has really been plugging it.
I finished Hideaway Cove by Anna Sullivan, Windfall Island #2, and enjoyed it, though the author really seems to like writing stubborn heroines. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Blackberry Winter by Sarah Jio.

I just finished the Shakespeare Saved My Life: Ten Years in Solitary with the Bard. I did read it cause the overdrive plugging it, and thought eh why not. I liked it, thought it was interesting. It didn't really have a wonderful flow to it, and some sections ended kind of abrupt, but I still think it was worth the read.

I finished Blackberry Winter by Sarah Jio and really liked the story. It was nothing like I imagined and was told through two characters, one in 1933 and the other present day. Here's my review.
I'm now reading Last Chance by Christy Reece, Last Chance Rescue #6.

I finished listening to The Killer Next Door by Alex Marwood, narrated by Imogen Church. It was an interesting story, if not gruesome at times (the killer preserved his victims in his apartment).
Jumping off my plan to listen to The Shadows by J.R. Ward, BDB #13, narrated by Jim Frangione. Already hooked.
