There's a chance I'll move a few books into different categories as I progress throughout the year. I've also lined up a few books from my own collection and through the library waiting list that I can't wait to get to. Overall, I'm very happy with what I've read in this first quarter of 2015 -- it's more than I've read in 2011 and 2012, combined! I'm so thankful that challenge has helped me get out of a reading rut.

I decided not to use the erotica BDSM fanfiction-turned into books as my trilogy. Gonna check for suggestions.

Still thinking I'll move some multiple-category books around as this continues, should they fulfill one category better than another. Reeeeeeeeally hoping the last of Mantel's Wolf Hall trilogy gets published this year!!!, otherwise I'll have to think of something else for the trilogy category.

So, this is all I managed... But given the fact that I lost a few months to my dissertation, I'd say I've done pretty well. I intend to finish it in 2016 as well as do the 2016 challenge. Wish me luck!

I am Malala The Girl Who Stood Up for Education and Was Shot by the Taliban by Malala Yousafzai Swastika Night by Katharine Burdekin The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy (Hitchhiker's Guide, #1) by Douglas Adams Hidden True Stories of Children Who Survived World War II by Marcel Prins Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut Peilis by Kit Masters American Psycho by Bret Easton Ellis Babel-17 by Samuel R. Roquelaure Politics and the English Language by George Orwell

And in the middle of May I'm done with last year's challenge! Doesn't seem like I'm doing much better than last year with the starting time, but let's hope I manage to finish on time this year anyway.

Janet | 4 comments I have finished the challenge. It was lots of fun. I was able to read books that have been on my "To Read" list for a while plus books that I normally wouldn't have considered. I knew I wouldn't have the time to read a book for each category so I challenged myself to find books to would meet more than one category. Thank you to those who put this challenge together.

Bryan--The Bee’s Knees (theindefatigablebertmcguinn) I just found this challenge--kind of fun to go back through the books I've read so far this year and fit them to the categories. So none of my choices were picked to intentionally fit the criteria, but a lot of them fit anyway

My hat off to you Bryan... You must be a prolific reader!

Do you intend to fill in the gaps?

Ah shucks :)

I think it was just by accident that my reading this year fit the categories so well. I don't know if I'll go back and try to fill the gaps--I do have books in my TBR pile that would fit the ones I missed, but none of those were in my immediate pile. Still, this might move a few of them up the slopes of Mt. Readmore.
