Thanks Briansgirl ! I really enjoyed Designed to Annoy, but The Family Bones I found very strange and didn't feel that there was a resolution at the end !

Thanks Yz ! Nothing quite like having Pneumonia to increase your reading time !

Update - seem to be slowing down somewhat but still reading (although quite a bit late at night to unwind or first thing in the morning to rev up). Here goes:
R - Redemption Alley by Lilith Saintcrow
First time ever I read an Eve Dallas story and I deliberately chose a short one that made up an anthology and I liked it. So now have to start the series from the beginning eep.

O- Once Bitten, Twice Shy by Jennifer Rardin
B- Blood Promise by Richelle Mead

B - Blue Dahlia by Nora Roberts
E - Eden Burning by Elizabeth Lowell

C - Catching Fire
T - A Touch of Dead
O - On the Edge
B - Belle de Jour: Diary of an Unlikely Call Girl
E - Ellroy: The Black Dahlia
R - Rose Daughter

BTW, that Orson Scott Card book on your list sounds tempting... I've read only Ender's Game so far, but it landed on my all-time-fav-list...

Enchantment is just my 2nd O.S. Card book, and yes, Ender's Game was the 1st! The two are very different in intensity. This one is a modern-day Russian version of Sleeping Beauty - well, it begins in the 20th C. but after the hero kisses the enchanted princess, they both go back to the 9th C. Somehow in Ender's, I felt it was real even tho I knew it wasn't, but here I don't have that feeling, and I'm just enjoying a story instead of experiencing it, if that makes sense (I'm a little over halfway).

10/21/2009 COMPLETED

Congrats on finishing! I'm still only on my 3rd book for this challenge

All done!

Makes perfect sense, thanks! And I did not realize he wrote fairytales too. Interesting. I might give it a go, even though you say it was not as engaging as Ender's.

wooohoooo, I'm done....finally!

I'm beginning to have the same feeling! I'm down to just one in the Paranormal Challenge and in the Romance Readers Challenge, so I think I'll get those done

I didn't state that too clearly - Enchantment is an engaging story, but much lighter in tone, and it took me a little while to get into it. I'm enjoying it, but I just don't feel part of it as I did with Ender - it's not as intense.
