Nidhi Bhatt | 14 comments I just read The Unidentified Redhead The Unidentified Redhead (Redhead, #1) by Alice Clayton . It was bit funny and a lot of steaming sexy times! :)

I am currently reading and about to complete Days of Blood & Starlight (Daughter of Smoke & Bone, #2) by Laini Taylor Days of Blood & Starlight. It is amazing series! Love it!

✿ Natalie ✿ | 428 comments Due to recommendations on this group I have finally settled into read Claiming the Courtesan Claiming the Courtesan by Anna Campbell and I am enjoying thus far! I like how precisely controlled the Duke tries to be, but how that control is being challenged by care and affection for another.

message 206: by Tammy (new)

Tammy | 395 comments I am starting My Time in the Affair by Stylo Fantome . I don't like cheating in books but this one was picked for me to read in a challenge and I've heard good things so we shall see

How was The Drafter (The Peri Reed Chronicles, #1) by Kim Harrison ?

message 213: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 381 comments Tammy, I liked it but it is sooooo different from The Hollows stuff! In the beginning its confusing but man, once you get it its great. So original. And whoa, Harrison had me going all kinds of directions...

Kate, for some reason "those" types of books give me the heebie-jeebies...maybe its because it could be so real (I can't read "true crime" novels) and oh, how I'd hate for that to happen to me!

message 215: by Cindi (new)

Cindi (ourtrumpcard) | 381 comments The Forgotten (Krewe of Hunters, #16) by Heather Graham is really good so far, and even tho Ms. Graham writes tons of books I can't tell who dunnit yet :)

Good to know!! I plan on reading this with the group

Susan (the other Susan) (theothersusan) | 259 comments Rereading (listening to) one of Sandra Brown's best romantic suspense tales, White Hot. If you do audiobooks, don't make the mistake of getting the abridged version, which is for some reason the only version carried by Audible. Another outfit, audiobooks.com, has the Unabridged version, and a 30 day free trial that Im using just for this book. Excellent narration by sexy voiced actor Victor Slezak.

Kate, I love that series. Hope you enjoy Ignite Me (Shatter Me, #3) by Tahereh Mafi whenever you get around to it

Susan (the other Susan) (theothersusan) | 259 comments A fun gothic haunted house story (and maybe a romance, although I'm not yet sure of that): The Visitant: a Venetian Ghost Story, by Megan Chance. I happened upon the audiobook at a bargain price while debating how to spend this month's Audible credit. Narrated by Julia Whelan, who voiced Amazing Amy in Gone Girl. So far, so good: crumbling palazzo, disgraced American nurse, sardonic patient, jealous slutty housekeeper, too-charming friend-of-the-patient who is probably up to no good, suspicious drowning death in the canal below the balcony... and Venice in the snow!

Danielle, I have finished Claiming the Courtesan and enjoyed their story. I thought the book was actually going to be a lot darker in tone than it was, but that was just me having a wrong impression of the story before I began! I liked both Kylemore and Verity.

! I am liking it, even tho it is so different from BDB; I enjoyed her other contemporaries too. But I find myself pulled out of the story every once in a while when she does too much of her BDB street lingo and descriptions. Let them be completely different, IMHO.

You noticed that too? Who does that? Southerners have their own lingo from suburban New Yorkers. Oh well something to pass the time of day till the 2 new books come out or D.B. Reynolds beats Ward to it. I just finished my last D.B Reynolds VIA and I am thirsty for something I can sink my teeth into . Suggestions????
